Then later in the fight Aizen remembers how he was saying earlier that you can't sense the reiatsu of someone who is on another level than you. Ichigo didn't even do anything, he made Aizen flex on himself.

The creator of FMA has stated that if Wrath had been in his prime during the show, the good side wouldn't have been able to win no matter what lmao. Wrath is one of the most underrated monsters in Shonen anime. FMA is grounded in a more realistic setting and may not have over the top mountain destroying powers like others in its genre, but the sheer SKILL the top-tiers have is ludicrous for the setting. Wrath was 60 years old and it took an army, a tank, multiple skilled fighters jumping him at the same time, and the LITERAL power of Deus ex Machina to bring him down. He was stabbed in the gut, missing an eye, shot in the shoulder and hacking up blood and he STILL would have killed Scar if not for the convenient eclipse glare. Man's an absolute UNIT.

It confuses me when authors say this stuff. Another weird author quote is oda saying akainu would find one piece in a year if he was the protagonist. But what does that actually mean? Maybe he means if akainu was looking for the one piece during his downtime as admiral? Or maybe a luffy-esque protagonist with akainu's ability, or akainu himself on a pirating path instead of the marines. That quote about bradley is similarly aggravating to think about. In a practical sense, she could have had bradley be in his prime, but still have the good side win due to plot convenience or an elaborate scheme. Taking the statements at face value, if wrath had actually been written in his prime, she would have still figured out a way for him to lose. If akainu actually was the protagonist, oda would find a way to make it take longer than a year. Authors just say this stuff to hype characters up

@@Relisoc4 I respectfully disagree. Some authors succumb to the Death of the Author Trope (cough cough JK Rowling), but Arakawa and Oda's statements are believable enough to me. In the case of Akainu finding the One Piece, it's because Akainu isn't a brain-dead teenager who has an IQ of 40. He has both the soft and technical skills to achieve that goal. Bradley being unstoppable in his Prime is similar in that regard. From what we've seen of him as a half-dead 60 year old, it's more than believable that no one would have been able to match him, given that it took "divine intervention" to do him in. Sure, they may be trying to hype their characters, but imo as long as the statements aren't outside the realm of possibility, they're more than believable.

@@adamhartman3799 Yeah that's always a possibility, same with foil, flusterstorm, swan song, force of will, pact of negation, but that's all theoretical possibilities, much like the combo I mentioned. Is that likely to happen every game? Absolutely not. Is it technically possible to go into infinite Mana turn 2, yes. It's also possible anyone could intervene with any number of removal spells or everyone could be tapped out after playing their ramp turn 2 and everyone could just lose on the spot. But these are all simply possibilities, not probabilities. It's much more likely that I'll be able to drop artifacts for free after Mana cost reduction and just draw into a turn 3-5 infinite Mana combo, then burn everyone away. I used to run Jhoira as mill and it was quite effective but I got bored with it so I made it much more focused on being as fast as I could make it with my budget, which is next to nothing. But that's part of what makes Jhoira so good is she can be absolutely broken with dirt cheap commons and uncommons and/or expensive rares.

Yes, that guy was an embarrassment to moustaches, but I feel you've got to compare him to other facial hair in the series. Yhwach, the end antagonist, had his own crazy moustache going on. Compared to Yamamoto, a ridiculous and, on numerous occasions, literal flexer in the series, Giriko's facial hair might as well be that of a newborn baby. The other impressive power-flexing moustache in the series was Barragan who was flexing all over the battlefield to the point the only way they ended up defeating him was with a pink-moustached kido flex.

ACTUALLY if you pay attention to the anime (I'm not 100% on this but I remember it clearly) his original name was never revealed in the story, but when he was turned into Wrath, Father gave him a new name, "King Bradley", which is completely unrelated to his title (dai soutou kakka, or his excellency great commander in english). Father chose this name because he decides that Wrath would be the leader of the nation, not because he decided he would be literally the king.
