New sub here. Got recommended. Lol. Great hit! Never been to Barona but thought recording is allowed there. Seen some YTubers do it (Neilly, Shinobi, BC, etc). Possible they changed their policy. I usually play at Pechanga and Pala and find the machines on the "tight" side, how do you like Barona? Thanks.

Barona stopped allowing slot filming last month. It's a new policy, even the casino manager wasn't aware of it, but the slot manager is the one who interrupted me with the bad news. He said it was the gaming commissions decision, not the casino. I really liked Barona, they're known for the loosest slot in SoCal, at least that's what they advertise. Losses still count, but most people aren't reaching the new standard deduction without the gambling losses, so they are actually paying more tax, even if they had a net gambling loss for the year. Very frustrating how slot players are penalized more so than poker or table game players.

Losses do not cover wins 100% anymore. Only about 30%. If you don't have taxes taken out, you will be shocked come tax time.

@@slotmagic Well, it is finally going to be San Manuel's turn. They are reopening to the public on Monday, June 15th after being closed exactly three months. They are the last ones that I would have thought would ever close and it's shocking to see they are one of the last to reopen. Since yesterday (the 10th) thru Sunday, the 14th they are opening for "invited guests" only. I was supposed to go today but changed to Sunday instead (if I do decide to go). This might possibly be one way to avoid long lines before they let in the general public. My friend went to and stayed at Barona last weekend and I am waiting to hear how that went. By the way, a lot of people film their videos for youtube at San Manuel.
