Big collecting with my dad since '95 and we were always chasing the big hit and although we never got it, we still loved the excitement of the chase. Very cool. Got the same last year. It was the 87 gold judge auto. July. Still havent gotten it. In September topps told me the player had the card and they were waiting for him to sign it. Since then they have sold thousands of judge autos. So, yeah.

@@B_and_B_Rips in the 90s my Dad and I put together the 1955 Bowman set. I was just around my early teens. Unfortunately my Dad passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in 2004 at 59. I went through a hard time, however I always had my most prized possession in life. It is that set of cards. I still upgrade cards constantly. As a kid I didn't realize how lucky I was to do that with him. To spend the time, and have such great memories of him telling me stories of Mantle and Mays when he was my age. We talked about the players and the cool TV cards. To share that experience collecting that set with him in a way that brought us together outside of just Father and Son was special . He became my best friend and we had such a bond that was built through baseball and Baseball cards. The collecting and hobby are so great for a father and son. So when I see a special moment like what I watched and heard with you and your kiddo, it made me feel so happy. You are creating a special bond that will go beyond your wildest dreams with your kiddo. Congratulations. You are being a great father and preserving the heritage that makes this hobby amazing.

Great activity for a father n son. Some of us weren't so fortunate but that I meant that some of us are always working just to make ends meet n didn't get the opportunities to hang out with our kids no matter how much we wanted to. I'm retired now, I was able to give my only son a BMW z3 for his 16th birthday, a corvette for his 17th birthday, a mustang gt convertible for his 18th birthday then on his own after that but still living with the family. I bought a house n put everything in his name too becuz it will all be his one day. As an athletic father I know if I had time back then. Maybe he wouldn't have to become a semi truck driver just to help me pay for everything. He usually on the road 3 weeks n come home for 3 days to wash clothes n restock on foods. Thank-u for the video.

@B & B Rips I like collecting cards too for over 30 years now. I'm retired n disabled from a stroke in 2012. As an Asian-American, we moved to the US back in October 1980 to Selma Alabama at the age of 9. I did pretty good, I was the most fearful football kicker during HS in Wisconsin. I was blessed to be able to learn English n the way of life from an early age. Today I'm giving my son everything n every opportunity for him to make his life better than mine in the future. Hopefully

Great content. I have a question for you. I pulled a 2023 topps silver pack 1988 chrome promo t88c-96 joey votto autograph-superfractor 1/1 card but it has damage on the back from the factory. Topps said I could send it back for a replacement but I don't know if it's worth the chance. I doubt they will send me a 1/1 card back. If it were you, would you send it in?
