My new neighbor is very interested in when Im going to pick up my leaves. I like to do them once when they all finish coming down. Now I have a fence around my property so it’s not like they are blowing all over the neighborhood. So last weekend they were almost all down so I figured id do them. Go out in the morning to for a 4 hour call in to work and my neighbor again inquires about the leaves. I said theres still a few in the trees. Lol Later that afternoon I go out with the rake and leaf blower to get them all in piles away from the house and fence and shrubs. My neighbor comes out and says You will never get them all bagged before the sun goes down. I have a little over 2 acres of land. So I say it looks like I have about an hour of good light and about 90 min before dark. I’ll bet you I can get all these leaves bagged in an hour. He asks what we will bet. I say if I do it you shut up about my leaves next year and If I don’t Ill do my leaves every weekend. He takes the bet. I pull out my cyclone rake and attach it to my ride on and suck up and mulch everything in about 20 min. Another 30 min later it’s all bagged up and sitting at the curb for pick up. He came over and handed me a beer and asked where he could buy one. Lol.

Don't know how big they get, but a nearby city uses similar equipment. Everyone gets to make huge piles along the side of the road.

Yep, that's what this project was. Average engine on these is the 74hp. This is the 99hp model.

My town used these machines, but got away from them. Now they give you a tall plastic container that you rake the leaves into. I liked the sucker, less labor. I try to get the bulk of them with my mower.

Its an option but just some of the bottom of piles are like this. Some are dry which the vac is very quick with.

Looks like an old 80 hp giant vac John Deere diesel. For they extinct brand that was their biggest. But there are other brands that use 99hp and even saw 125 hp on of vac.
