The last thing the MCU needs is the X-Men. There are too many characters already. The X-Men work much better in their own universe... but we've already had 10 of them. The superhero genre has become seriously oversaturated over the past 15-20 years. A large chunk of the move-going and streaming-service audiences are getting bored.

That latest one looks dire. The music just screams "this isn't Star Wars folks". Then there's the "small-town America" vibe complete with the father wearing 21st century eye glasses. These "creatives" really don't understand the galaxy George Lucas bequeathed to them.

@@jjc5407 It's the garbage "writers". Screenwriters are garbage, like if they were that good they'd be published. Do your job as screenwriters and adapt properly; don't fucking add your own spin on stories that made the latter GOOD in the first place. If you were that good, you'd be published not a fucking screenwriter. Phew, sorry I had to rant.

Do yourselves a favor and walk away from SW. For a minute it was hard to do after seeing Luke's appearance back in Mando, but Disney has made it super easy barely an inconvenience now. Trust me. I am 52 years old and whilst I have seen the first mission impossible movie I had never considered myself a fan and even though I somewhat enjoyed the film I never watched any of the subsequent films until the release of dead reckoning; part one. To be perfectly honest, there were probably two main reasons I watched it to begin with 1. Was that it had Hayley Atwell and I love her and 2. I had pretty much seen everything worth watching on all the streaming platforms. However this movie made me fall in love with mission impossible and after I watched dead reckoning I went back and watched every mission impossible movie from the first one onwards. Hayley Atwell was a great addition to the team. I really loved the dynamic duo of Ving Rhames & Simon Pegg as Luther and Benji. I was destroyed when Rebecca Ferguson who played Ilsa Faust was killed. I was really bummed out about that to be honest. She is an amazing actress. I hope that they bring her back to life LOL. But also the villains in this movie were perfect counterpoints to the heroes Vanessa Kirby as the white widow was brilliant And Esai Morales as Gabriel was a great mastermind. But I have to admit that I feel that my beloved Mantis. Sorry I mean Pom Klementieff stole the show from the other villains I mean she was SCARRRRRYYYYY. Remind me never to piss her off. So I cannot wait to see part two of this amazing franchise. I never thought I’d hear myself say those words but here I am.😮

I really loved the first instalment of MISSION IMPOSSIBLE DEAD RECKONINGTo be brutally honest I’ve never been a huge Mission impossible fan being more into the fantasy/sci-fi/horror genre movies but every now and again I don’t mind a good action film and Mission impossible dead reckoning part one did not fail to disappoint with amazing performances not only by Tom Cruise but also the three stunning actresses Hayley Atwell,Pom Klementieff, & Rebecca Ferguson sadly reprising her role as Ila’s Faust for the final time. 😢. Pom K. Played the part of an obsessed villain extremely well very different to her empathic character inGuardians of the Galaxy. And Hayley Atwell is always captivating in everything she makes. From performances in the MCU to an episode in the Black Mirror series and adding Ving Rhames & Simon Pegg back into the fray as the tech gurus/men in the chair along with a brilliant new villain and a great story plot. I cannot wait to see part two.

No wonder - as long as Marvel profits from it, it will simply keep going. So far, around 30 movies have been produced, costing four to five billion dollars but generating over 28 billion in revenue. Such profits ensure that endless Avengers spin-offs continue to be churned out, rather than making room for fresh, innovative ideas.

Really looking forward to the return of Liv Tiler as Betty Ross. I had heard rumours several years ago that she would be possibly returning to the MCU as Betty and people wondered whether that would mean we would see a return of Edward Norton as some sort of cameo appearance but I’m highly doubtful that will happen. Also seeing the return of Carl Lumbly I was Isaiah Bradley from falcon and the Winter soldier as a pleasant surprise he was an intriguing character. I am also extremely excited about the thunderbolts and wondering what his motivated Bucky Barnes to return as what appears to be the winter soldier has Valentina Allegra De Fontaine somehow triggered his brainwashing by Hydra or is he simply acting in his own best interest? Really looking forward to seeing Red Guardian in a more action filled role along with Florence Pugh as The wisecracking sarcastic black widow assassin Yelena Belova. Also the incredibly stunning Olga Kurylenko who does justice to any role that she plays. The gorgeous and talented Rachel Weisz as Melina and the return of Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr a.k.a. Ghost for the first time since Quantumania. And more specifically I am really looking forward to the introduction of “BOB’ a.k.a. ‘ THE SENTRY’ who I am highly doubting if he is anywhere near as powerful as in the comics will be easily able to overcome all of the Thunderbolts Team in a second he’s basically like evil superman in his scale of power. I think only with the help of someone like Harrison Ford as the red Hulk combined with the thunderbolts will stand any chance against him. But it should prove to be a fun movie nonetheless. And as much as I feel Disney is in a real pickle at the moment, I’m still holding faith that the MCU won’t be ruined completely by Bob ‘ Penny Pincher’ Iger and his cohort of Disney executives.

They used to put their all into the theater movies. You used to go knowing you're really going to see some amazing special effects and exciting stories that you can't see on TV. The plus services have flooded us with special effects and somewhat ruined the movie going experience. Instead of focusing on big movies, they squander resources on plus movies and ongoing TV series. By spreading themselves thin like that, the quality suffers. By trying to keep up content for the plus services, the originality fades. Not to mention the writers' strikes leaving us with less to watch. Those that remain keep recycling hit franchises until we get sick of the prequels, sequels, remakes, & heavily borrowed ideas.

I absolutely love David Harbour as Alexie a.k.a. The Red Guardian. And the dynamic between him and Yelena. Like millions of people out there though I am still wondering why there is an Asterix at the end of Thunderbolts*. I hope that it turns out to be something interesting about some lame marketing idea to suck people in. Also really liking the new look to both Taskmaster & Ghost’s costumes. They have been updated to be more comic book accurate and it really works for me and as much as I cannot stand the character of John Walker as U.S Agent thus far I think that his role will fit perfectly into this film as to whether the thunderbolt become The Dark Avengers yet remains to be seen but it is looking possible given the fact that they are going to be residing in the old avengers Tower. Either way I am very hopeful for this film and the introduction of the dual personalities of The Sentry
