We’re on our most successful gold prospecting trip yet. After finding gold on a virgin patch we've dug out numerous nuggets which we found with the help of our metal detectors (Minelab GPX 6000). Today we find the biggest gold nugget of the trip!

Love your videos. I spent years swinging a detector in Alaska in search of nuggets and learning to enjoy it while dealing with the insects. It looks like Australia has just as many bugs as Alaska has! If you leave your bug dope and head net home, you won’t survive the day.

A lot of detectorists don’t know how to show their gold. As long as it is in the shade or displayed in a shaded environment the cams show gold the best. In direct sunlight it just looks like dirt. Nice video keep uploading I’m entertained. Good job!👍

Excellent video, I have watched this trip with interest as I haven't experienced this sort of gold patch myself, I am wondering how it seems Chrissy can go such a long time between nuggets, have you considered swapping chained area's, so that Clint goes over your chained area's with his 6000 and you rechain his area's with your 6000 there seems to be a difference between the two machines, I realise that he has the 14inch DD coil on and you are using the 11inch mono, there does seem to be a difference between the two machines and it might be worthwhile going over each others area's, did you end up getting that 14 by 9inch oval mono coil or am I thinking of Fat Barstards or Goldfield Gooses video's, ah well, we shall see, I am heading out to my sleush in a minute, thanks for the video and have a really good day.
