Last yr in November I started my practice but no one is paying me for my work even thought I do drafting, I do filing I sometimes argue on behalf of my senior but still. They didnt pay me basic amount tgat is require to pay my own expenses like lunch,petrol and tea and seniors are making 4-5 lakhs each months that makes me depress because i am first generation in law I dont have family scope my fatger is rtd army officer I have to support my family I have to earn basic sallary that too i am not earning. You in advocacy u cant do anything to earn money and this is the reason why many young advocates quit advocacy who doesnt have law background. We have huge cost to BCR in the name of advocate training but no one teach us then why they took that money? We argue for other on equal work equal pay but is that criteria doesnt apply on our seniors? 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

I really think if u want to make a successful name here then probably u should stop complaining. Like didnt u know this would be the scenario when u chose litigation . Its evident enough that u atleast need 5 or 6 yrs to build ur name in that place until then the only thing that u have to care abt is how largely u can impact urself in the field. I feel you should spend hrs on library get details practice key points on your niche legal field. Weather ipr, estate, corporate, criminal etc. Develop expertise on particular niche and after gaining mastering start marketing. Your knowledge, attitude, confidence will bring work for you. Even I was thinking the same but now I think it depands on how much talented we are , if you have the potential ,if you are best at any work you will be paid muchh for that even you yourself can make a lot from it but if you are not good at your work then there's no solution you will not earn satisfied amount. We all know that engineers who are working in Google , Amazon and such big companies or IItians earn a lot whereas many engineers in our neighborhood or so doesn't earn that much ??? Both are engineers only but still ..... So I think yaa it's a bit difficult in beginning to start earning good amounts and doing better in law but with time and our efforts we will make it and then there would be no limits for our earnings (as lawyers won't get salary but get fees and it depends on us just we need to prove that we are best)

Just to clear with your doubt if you want to intern under someone you can definitely but talking about the real practice, representing client in the court of law you need to enroll yourself first in any State Bar Council as An Advocate and clear the All India Bar Council and get the certificate of practice then only you will be designated as a full-fledged advocate with the 'right to practice'
