This Mr Richard charged me a reasonable amount of $ for TMC Questions and answers I don't know how guaranteed that is

I had the same fears. When I saw code blue procedures online, the fear imploded. Thanks for sharing your after take.

any inside hospital video plans ( you obviously cant show patient) but like an edited version of what you've done this morning etc...
@BreatheEasyRRT6 жыл бұрын
Hmmm... Not so sure. It depends on the hospital's social media policy, once I start working. I would hate to do something that they didn't approve of then lose my job.

I'm about to enter a 2 year RT program this Fall. I'm extremely nervous because I'm also rolling A&P 2 and Microbiology into the program to save time and hoping I don't overload myself. Did you take those classes before your program or have advice on doing so or know others that have done that?
@BreatheEasyRRT5 жыл бұрын
The program I did incorporated all of the prerequisites into the program at the same time as the RT classes. Time management and asking for help when you need it will be the most beneficial. There is nothing wrong with going to tutoring or asking a classmate to help explain a topic that you aren't quite sure about. Good luck!

You are better off getting your bachelors, or masters in a non-respiratory field. Something like Health management. This is because you'd have an opportunity of being the Respiratory supervisor, or lead department manager in the future. Going straight RT will hinder this, according to our instructor and some preceptors I've spoken to on the matter.

What can you do with a bachelor if you cannot be a supervisor?

Hi! I'm new to your channel, but I've been watching you all last night and today! I have a question for you. Did you ever feel limited by what you could do with an AAS RT degree? I want to do RT, but I don't see nearly as much room for advancement as I see with nursing. I know that there are a few different things that can be done with an RT degree, however, I just feel so limited by the options.
@BreatheEasyRRT6 жыл бұрын
Hey there! Thanks for watching! I don't personally feel limited by it. Is there something you want to do that you can not find in RT or use RT as a route to?
@Bearlyssa776 жыл бұрын
Not necessarily. When I wanted to get into healthcare I wanted to do nursing to become a NP with a specialty in derm. When I learned about RT I felt that I would have a better opportunity to help people, which is something I'm passionate about. The only things that make me a little uncomfortable are that I don't know what options there are for moving up. Sure, I could get a bachelors and master's degree, but what opportunities are there for people who want to advance?
@BreatheEasyRRT6 жыл бұрын
That's understandable! Some people go on to become perfusionists, physician assistants, anesthesiologist assistants, product research, etc. It just depends on what you want to do exactly 😊. There are opportunities for advancement for RTs out there, they are just not as well known as RN to NP for example.
@Bearlyssa776 жыл бұрын
Exactly. I'm not entirely sure what my goal is, I guess I just want to know that I'll have opportunities to do more if I'd like. Next semester is the last semester I'll have of prerequisites, then I'll be in the RT program next fall! I really enjoy your videos and how honest you are about everything. I'll keep watching!
@BreatheEasyRRT6 жыл бұрын
That's exciting, you are almost there! Hmmm... Since you were initially interested in a specific area of NP, try looking into PA. I believe PAs can specialize also. Check out some of the other areas I mentioned also, you never know you may like them. Ultimately, you have to go with what you feel is right for you. Whether that is RT or RN, I'll be happy for you either way and will be here to help with whatever I can. Good luck! 🤗

Boise State only accepts credits from a regionally accredited school while Pima Medical is nationally accredited. It’s a big bummer but there are some other options. Just wanted to let you know in case you didn’t. Sigh
@BreatheEasyRRT6 жыл бұрын
No worries, I've done my research. There are a few schools I can get my bachelor degree from that have agreements with Boise State which would allow me to go there for my master degree. Just waiting on credit transfers now 😊 Thanks for the heads up though!
@Julia-qk4du6 жыл бұрын
That makes me happy to hear! I was accepted into Pima’s program but was having second thoughts because of this accreditation thing. If you don’t mind me asking, would you recommend their program then? Thanks 🙂
