The sheer scale and precision involved in launching the world’s largest ships is an incredible testament to human engineering and teamwork.

Originally launched in 1979, the Seawise Giant was the longest self-propelled ship ever built, measuring 458.45 meters. Its launch was a monumental event, highlighting the scale of supertankers of that era.

21:18 I hate watching balloons being released, especially in great quantities and over water. Don't they know that hundreds of ocean mammals and fish get those balloons caught in their mouths and airways? How many people have seen videos of people pulling plastic bags and balloons from the windpipes of turtles and beluga whales? Many of those balloons look just like their favourite foods. 😢

As you can see, most of the time the overpriced private yachts end up with an accident

Love seeing the NOAA boats! I used to do security for NOAA, up in Seattle, both at Eastlake and Lake Union. That's when I learned what NOAA really stands for, from the National Weather Service guys........ hahahahaha! (No Organization At All) LoL ! Actually, NOAA was and is very organized and the people that work on their ships are very professional and dedicated to their jobs. I got to go on tours of a few of the ships and they're even more impressive on the inside!

Why is it that 98% of the time, camera operators turn away from the action at the critical moment of the operation??? I rarely get to see what happened, especially when things go wrong. I do Forensic Engineering and the more specific data I have the better the procedures I can recommend for future operations. Most people do not see the specific details I need, so I can waste hours watching poor quality recordings.

I'm feeling that the crane way is not the way to do well unless you can hire someone who has a working math skill and can get the weight and attachments properly used but if it is ever my vessel or ship I will refuse any use of a crane or lift of any sort cause I'd have a heart attack if it failed and be stuck telling myself I told you so.
