I'm much possibly very very late to comment on this, but a thing that bothers me somewhat is people mumping/indirectly begging for a gift sub or something similar going like "oh, what a shame i don't have a sub, haha", "ah, so sad that I don't have de emotes, i rlly wish i had the money" or the like. Its very a weird behavior XP like, i get the feeling, having emotes is cool and all and i also don't have the funds to go throwing around subs at every streamer i like but this kinda thing almost feel like trying to guilt trip someone into gifting them. also, Love u, Heart! ur voice so soothing, these videos help me focus a lot on stuff i do while i watch 💖

One time I had a guy flirt with me in someone else's stream, they wouldn't stop talking about their huge yiff collection 😅

The thing about it being rude to mention another streamer doesn't really make sense to me, especially if the CC is a strong community support figure. Like you can't boast supporting the fandom and then scold someone for just mentioning another streamer, it's rude of the CC to be like that if they claim to be of that position. I honestly find it hypocritical for a CC to take pride in being a member of a huge community and proud etc, only to then punish mentions of other CC's. It's a mention, it's not defaming or denouncing your content, and it's not an advertisement to the other CC, if it were any other way, then yes I totally agree, that's just simply bad manners, but for someone to say, "So and so finished up stream so here I am" is a compliment to you as a CC, meaning out of the hundreds of thousands of other CC's they chose you. "Thank you XY for choosing me after CC finished streaming! I hope you enjoy your stay!" goes a million times further than "Excuse me, this is MY channel, please don't ADVERTISE CC's that aren't me, because me, me me me, and ME" that's all I hear from a lot of the "Don't even mention someone else around my stream" types of CC's. Like how is it that rude to mention someone else when the reaction is far more disturbing than the complement of a viewer choosing to view your content over the others? I firmly believe that simply mentioning where they came from, is a complement to your talents. It's not a rude thing to let you know that out of the pool of channels, you were chosen, and if you don't get upset over another CC raiding your channel, then it's borderline hypocritical. You literally had another CC plaster themselves all over your channel for a few seconds and from a few to hundreds of their viewers carrying over the conversation from the previous CC's topic. I for one think spreading the word of other streamers is a good thing, you won't see me out there declaring to everyone that this is my world and you should all follow me and only watch me, I've on more than a dozen occasions mentioned you on my streams and even encouraged active viewers to give you a follow, because I believe in the community capacity of the fandom. Advertising or comparing you to another CC is the bad thing and should be politely addressed. The only people who lose when everyone fights each other for viewers, are the viewers.
