Unfortunately, the Shiite areas are not clean, and after the war, we were hoping that only the better would change, but the opposite happened

@SindyJB I did not know that date syrup was a thing until you started watching DBH Iraq videos. I saw it was available online as well. I can't wait to try it.

Bro when you were eating the eggs and date syrup I was wondering wtf that tasted like. I’m Iraqi and forgot I’ve had that before. The difference is I grew up on scrambled eggs with actual dates mixed in. Great great flavor, especially when the eggs are salted for flavor. I love that you’re enjoying my parent’s home country.

Hello David, again a very lovely video. I love the breakfast it looks so delicious. I could imagine the heat you were feeling. How did you make out?? I grew up in heat, but now its to much for me😃. The market place is so interesting. Lots of fish, fresh vegetables, fruits etc. The ring, you almost had to buy it, it nearly could not come off. Lovely to see this amazing place. Thank you💕💕💕

David, Thanks You are a professional, unique and decent youtuber. I will try to make the egg with dates syrup. You missed the Zubaidi fish. We in Saudi don’t have a fresh Zubaidi like Iraq. Zubaidi with rice is a crazy food. Thanks always. With love from Saudi

Basrah, also known as Basra, is a city in Iraq located on the Shatt al-Arab river near the Persian Gulf. It is one of the major ports of Iraq and has a long history as a center of trade and commerce. Basrah is known for its cultural heritage, including historic buildings, mosques, and museums. The city has faced challenges in recent years due to conflicts and instability in the region, but efforts are being made to revitalize and create a brighter future for Basrah.

Nice video David. So simple. I loved the breakfast. One looked like a frittata and the other one looked like poached, sunnyside up, fried eggs. Healthy and tasty. Even the soup looked delicious: like a matzo ball. Loved the market but the seafood and meat areas left a little to be desired. Not my favorite. It would be interesting to see the old buildings after the restoration and renovations are done. Jafar really came to life in this one, and Tasos, where are you trying to lose weight? You look good. Anyway, David, I am glad you didn't buy the ring. It just didn't look right. Beware of buying rings and jewelry in these places because a lot of them might have nickel in the alloy which causes allergic reaction and rashes. As the plating wears off, the nickel gets exposed. So be aware. Another interesting video. What's next? 🙏😇🕊️🇹🇹🇨🇦

The video is very nice, but unfortunately why this large amount of waste and rubbish everywhere. It is forbidden for this to be the case in Basra. Where is the secretariat of Basra from all this, and where do the money and wealth of the great Iraq go?
