That was sick! Some of those hold downs looked heavy, I'm not surprised though because the waves where massive. The no grab takeoffs are sick to

Keep it up dude, Sick edits! Especially while Cape Town is Flat. Just maybe get one of the proper gopro mounts?- it sounds like you're breathing through a snorkel haha
@scottyknowsurf9 ай бұрын
yea did you guys not just have a good run? Mouth mount is original, I breath like that as trained from martial arts, reminds me to breathe, will eventually add my own music and upgrade the edits. Thanks for the view and the comment.

Shot scotty.. Ever surfed Umhlanga or north of the umgeni river ? Love the videos dude🤙
@scottyknowsurf9 ай бұрын
Yes I have, really enjoy Balito side, they have a lot of waves
@foxgd889 ай бұрын
Awe deathgraal4207, I have surfed umgeni river - it’s quite a secret wave you either need a jetski or to paddle around the jettie. You can also enter from paddling from the canoe club on the ramp which is safer on high tide so you avoid rusty objects in the water - low tide you can nearly walk there. Or my favourite you can jump off the end of the jetty into the waves and paddle quick before the next set😂! Good spot - mostly tow ins stealing my waves
@foxgd889 ай бұрын
Also another good spot is infront of the Tongaat river on the left, produces fun barrels and my fav when it’s big is umghlanga river when it’s big because it usually is protected from the swell and the banks aren’t as hectic .. a bit foreign- peace cottage by umdloti and the river mouth in Umhlanga is also a reasonable point break during Covid surfs and can hold proper barrels with the reef. Watch out for sharks seen stuff at Tongaat 😅
