If these deer are like our deer here the momma feeds 3-4 times a day and then walks away and will graze away from the baby to keep them from becoming prayed on. And having disturbed her like that could cause her to "dry up" to soon, I know excitement tends to over rule doing what is right, in do time this baby will be introduced to you if the momma feels fit. So please for the sake of the momma and the baby’s survival do not interfere anymore, this baby needs the best chance there is even if we want to hug and love with the best intentions. Go in feed and water and leave, that is the baby’s best chance. Tfs this little beauty.
