Keep in mind that a gamma Ray burst is a one time event. Quasars are (relatively) in the same place night to night. It's like measuring the dimensions of a enormous Christmas Tree with only 19 lights flashing once and only once; each one at a different time. As opposed to measuring the dimensions of the same tree using a few more lights that are always lit.

THANK YOU ! I can't believe how lucky I am, that you make these videos and then share them !!! There's a reason they invented the word "Priceless"

I really liked your positive spin on the end there. It gave me a peculiar sense of calm.

I am just waiting for new theories now. It's a shame James Webb is getting delayed. Imagine it had gone up as planned without delays. Imagine the knowledge we would have gained by now... 🤔

Agreed, we could have had 10 years of data to pour over. I'm just praying it launches and functions as planned, asap

Your ending is literally the reason that spiked my interest in astronomy. The sheer scale of the universe makes all mundane problems seem unimportant - and everything in society is much less interesting than what goes on, on a cosmological scale.

When I was grade 3 I asked my brother what is the biggest planet in the universe, he told me it was named something like "the great wall" I then started to overthink that it might explode but I calm myself with "Planets can't explode" and when there was a field trip in my school I woke up in 3 am just to go outside and see a lot of stars. It fascinated me and I wanted to learn more about our Universe. It even became my Aesthetic. And here is 12 year old me discovering that "The great wall" isn't a planet.

The thing is this is SOOOOOO far away, meaning that the time we discovered this, it might have disappeared already but the light it emitted is still far from reaching earth
