I went to Disneyland for the first time last week and was looking forward to that pasta dish bc Peter loved it so much. Because it really sounds like sound bites, and not actual people answering (mostly because they hardly seem to actually reply to what someone has said, but reply with something that's slightly a good answer), but I can't really see them pushing buttons anywhere ?

The troopers use hand motions to trigger their lines of dialog. They actually have sensors in their gloves that “read” their hand signs. It’s a pretty cool system.

Really nice to see Kitra out and about! $350 for essentially a 1:1 scale replica of a coveted movie prop is fair. Anything more $$$$, I hope your home rotates around it. Clothing is one of the few things I’m not crazy about at Galaxy’s Edge. The top looks cool. It’s lululemon for Resistance but it’s not the extra $$$.

To be honest I was expecting like Sideshow collectibles to eventually make one for $999 or something along that price and I probably would have paid that so one third the price is a lot less than I ever expected especially since the only two licensed replicas of it have been $2000 and $4000 so far. Also after my magic key discount it was under $300

@@OrdinaryAdventures i think you made a very good purchase. I have mixed feelings with Sideshow collectables. I'm definitely a regular customer having purchased over 50 Hot Toy 1/6th scale figures. Sideshow itself has cut corners such as the General Grievous figure (which shockingly Hot Toys has never released). While imposing, my General Grievous figure is VERY fragile. Sadly Sideshow's re-issue didn't have any improvements. I recommend asking Adam Driver who stole a few props on set to get you the REAL Vader prop. lol.

Peter I respect your dedication to collecting, the box was no joke! You would think there would be handles on it or something. Does Disneyland not bring items you bought to the front of the park for you like in WDW to pick up later?

They didn’t have a bag big enough and they offered to put handles on it but then they discovered the handles were too small for the box.

I need that bank! My living room is is mainly red and black and this would fit in perfectly. As always I learned a few new things and it’s great to see Kitra getting one step closer to getting the cast off.
