It's up to the person if they keep legal fish or not. To me letting everything go you catch is like going grocery shopping, and not buying anything.

Just goes to show you don’t understand an eco system and what fish are for keeping and what fish are for letting go. Perch,walleye,gills,crappies fishing on inland lakes can easily be heavily affected from keeping to many and/or keeping the wrong fish. You don’t have to keep a limit fish everytime you go out. Keep enough for a meal a couple walleyes or whatever when you want a meal and let the rest go. When your honey holes slow down on fishing and you start wondering why fishing for slow and start blaming a slow bite or the weather just remember it’s likely getting fished out. ​@@bradleymarquardt4464
