I’m picky about my music and some may even label me a music snob. And BHT has always moved me. Exceptional discography, elite instrumental savvy, solid to great songwriting. I rank them up there with 20 or 30 groups who have stood the test of time in spite of being left of main street with limited radio exposure (Wilco, Spoon, so many others). After the release of my fave LP Riviera and being taken aback by Julianna, I went from casual fan to diehard. I always knew and liked the BHT sound thanks to their high charting early work. Ironically it’s the lesser known material that moves me most.

Bittersweet and the rest of that album is excellent, but everything else they have done is why they are my favorite band.

Was at this show a few weeks back. They are the best live band in the world! Great energy, band is so tight. Played with no breaks for 2.5 hrs. Great energy in the crowd. Nothing like a BHTM live show!

Since the ally in Chicago where he played, It was great. Somewhere around 1990's. I have seen him so much im very fortunate. 40 years ive besn watching this guy play. Its awesome when i bring people to concerts, they have no interest. Who? WHO? LIKE A PARROT. Point is i never pick bad bands. In the end they all have a great memory. I get smooth when i get drinking, walking, skiing, dogs.
