This is a surprise. I've never seen or heard of this model before. 185 yes, but that is a much newer and stronger tractor with the A4.248 engine, wet brakes and square axle, central gear levers with 8X2 or MultiPower and no platform, just like a 165. This 180 model is more like a mini MF1080 model. This particular 180 seems to have a nasty engine knock and the governor isn't working very well either. I wonder whether the alternator was a factory fit? All 100 series built at Banner Lane has dynamos until the range was replaced in the UK in 1975.

Good day Huw Williams, Are u from UK or Europe? Over here we never had 185, 175, & 180 haad same motor 236. 180 had big or high tires . I think they built 1080, then1085. Thanks

one of the best mf built gusty for there size would pull 4/16s in gumbo all day a load but getter done
