Can u help by answer8ng below query..... Query : I opened a high value FD (term deposit) in post office on 01st Dec 2016. FD tenure was 1 year. They gave me a FD book having FD number mentioned on it. But I did not closed the FD till 01st Dec 2020 and assumed that the FD will get auto renewed of its own. Today on 04th Dec 2020, when I went to close the FD, I was surprised that after one year the FD was not auto renewed and earned only saving Bank interest from 01st Dec 2017 to 01st Dec 2020. This was told to me by post office head incharge that after one year of FD only saving Bank interest will be applicable as per their system. As per my knowledge if we do not close the FD on maturity, it should get auto renewed. Even natinalised bank also follow automatic auto renewal after mayurity if their is no instructions from customer to close. What is your opinion on this. Can I write to postoffice grevience cell as I lost lot of money as FD was of high value....Rajeev

As per post office they are rights, in post office FD/TD didn't get auto renewed by its own untill you didn't say to do it in auto renewal mode... But in bank auto renew is by default... Here after 1 year of TD you will get only saving interest rate....i understand you may have heavy loss due to this, but this is true...

Maine MIS renew kiya that October 2019 main..usse pahle Mera phone pe every month msg aata tha..par after renewal first msg April 2021 main aaya tha..uske Baad kabhi msg Nahin Aya ajki date tak.. मुकेश जी आपने बहुत अच्छी तरह समझाया है मगर मुझे एक बात पूछनी है कि जिस मोबाइल नम्बर पर मैसेज आता है क्या उसी मोबाइल में ये सेवा शुरू की जा सकेगी मान लो किसी का खाता बहुत पुराना है उसमें कोई और नम्बर दिया हुआ था जबकि अब पोस्ट ऑफिस में सभी औपचारिकता पूरी की जा चुकी है किसी कारण से अभी पहले वाले नम्बर पर मैसेज आया था उसे क्या पोस्ट ऑफिस जाकर दुबारा बोलना पड़ेगा या ठीक करवाना पड़ेगा दूसरा क्या पहले नेट बैंकिंग का प्रोसीजर करना पड़ेगा मोबाइल बैंकिंग से पहले। कृपया मार्गदर्शन करें धन्यवाद।

@@BIGJankari actually I tried to activate the mobile app after loading it from Google but when I filled up the details in the app it said that the username is incorrect. So I went to the post office. They gave me the form for debit/atm card & internet banking & told me that the app will work only after you get the card. If I want to use the app I shall have to do whatever say. if your date of birth is 1st January 2022. you have to type like 01-01-2022 and not 01012022. your invalid credentials will not be shown anymore. Remember you have to put a hyphen(-) between the numbers in the date of birth.

सर मेरा मोबाईल ल बॅंकिंग एप अभिभी एक्टिव्हेट नही होरहा है| मेल किया तो उसमे कहा गया की मोबाईल बॅंकिंग पोस्ट ऑफिस मे एक्टिव्हेट नही किया होगा इसलिये पोस्ट ऑफिस जाकर यह प्रोब्लेम बताई उन्होने मोबाईल बॅंकिंग उनके सिस्टम मे इन्याबल कर दिया है ऐसा मुझे कहा गया | फिर से मैने वह एप एक्टिव्हेट कर नेकी कोशिश कि, (सभी बाते जैसे की युजर नेम, जन्म तारीख, मो. नं. CIFid डाल दी ). लेकीन फिरभी एक्टिव्हेट नही हो रहा है|इनव्हॅलिड क्रिडेंशिल ही आ रहा है| मेरा इंटरनेट बॅंकिंग एक्टिव्हेट है| क्या करे? पहले भी मैने प्रोब्लेम बताई थी|

सरजी क्या पहले net banking का फार्म fill करके, पोस्ट आफिस में जमा करवाने के बाद (मैसेज आने पर) net banking पर जाकर new user id बनाने पर ID बना सकते हैं या सीधे ही post office की side से net banking शुरू हो जाएंगी?
