Ha Ha, what is it with the Brits and not having all the wet weather gear to hand, and at all times?! I love this!! Like, er, the UK isn't known for fairly frequent s--t weather?! Nice landing. Never heard spoilerons. Spoilers. Speed brakes then thrust revérsers on wet runways are employed. See only inboard ones used on 747 upon landing. 4 engines.

Some places do not have a refueling or the fuel is expensive there so they carry enough to get back or to a cheaper gas station, fueling station..

If you fly at low enough altitude you dont need to pressurize ( 10000feet). It just spends more fuel .

Everyone likes to fly. Not just guys. Wasp women aidmen in ww11. Taught men how to operate B 29. They were test pilots. I flew on United with a lady pilot .no problem. She let the co pilot make announcements so the doubters would not run off the plane. I experienced that also.
