Just got back home, and taking the first chance to comment. Can't praise John enough, a really nice bloke. Course is fantastic, but extremely narrow (Especially the front 9). All in all a great day.

Great Vlog John, great attitude to the game, pity more people aren't as chilled as you. There's a lot of high handicappers out there that think they should be hitting good shots all the time lol. I'm from St. Ives originally and coming down on holiday the week after next if you fancy a game, Mullion maybe or West Cornwall.

Hi Mark, I think I have some free days that week so email me at bigoggiegolf@gmail.com and I will see what I can do.

My thoughts exactly. People can get too hung up on every shot being perfect. Enjoy the good, and have a good laugh at the bad. It's about fun.

Hi there Bilbo. I am really looking forward to the Manchester trip. So yes still taking things carefully but also need to get some videos done whilst the weather isn’t too bad. But trying to balance all those spinning plates lol

Thanks, great vid and don't be so hard on yourself, you played at short notice and with a really bad back so you played okay. Gary seems a really nice guy and just a thought but liked the trip with golf mates that you did and when your backs a bit better and I am fit enough to travel would love if you did one of those trips for the inaugural Big Oggie Crew trip. What do you think? Cheers and keep up the great work John.

Hi there my friend. I would love to arrange one of those golf days next year. Just feel that the channel needs to grow a bit more yet but the community is growing all the time. Would be great to meet you.

good vlog john one thing i noticed with your swing and i have been doing it is not turning all your body on the follow through i was wondering why my back allways hurt after golf and thats why you are doing it to.
@BIGOGGIEGOLF6 жыл бұрын
I think that you are right my friend and it is something I am trying to work on in practice. And things have improved, but you know what it’s like, the minute you go on a course everything goes out the window.

Thanks Kenny, my chiropractor said it would be three months before it was fixed properly so I am having to be extra careful for a while.
@robertgalloway57576 жыл бұрын
Oggie A little tip for you. Every time you hit the ball you fall off it . All you need to do is stay on the ball on yr follow through and you will have a more consistent swing . 👍

Hi there Robert and thank you for commenting. You are absolutely right and next week we start a new series here on the channel where I will be working with my golf coach and discussing all these issues.

I wonder if the “I’ll grow into my clubs” mindset works on my wife when I suggest buying one of those high end Scotty Cameron putters.Extremely pricey!
@BIGOGGIEGOLF6 жыл бұрын
Ha ha I bought a Scotty Cameron because I didn’t have a putter at all and had just sold a new painting so at the time could afford it. Believe me right now I couldn’t change anything if I wanted to. Got too many things to pay for in family life. Champagne lifestyle, lemonade pockets ha ha

Actually I am thinking seriously about Pilates, yoga and tai Chi as well. Need to wait until the school holidays are over so I can get more free time but will definitely do one of them ASAP.
