Selah, I was 16 years old when my youngest brother was born. I got great practice and learned a lot that prepared me for motherhood. Having lots of experience being a big sister (eldest of 5 children), I can tell you that you're going to have lots of fun!

What a wonderful baby shower. Thanks for sharing it with us. One of the things I really appreciated was getting baby clothes that were meant for a 1-year-old or there-about. Babies outgrow clothes so fast; it isn't unusual for them to only wear a garment once or twice before it no longer fits. Be sure to let them wear things while they are a bit too large, so you get more use out of them. Looks like Selah is going to be a big help to you with the baby. Can't wait to see all of you enjoying the little one.

Dinner looks wonderful. I’d make a horrible homesteader because I couldn’t dispatch my animals after caring for them. Although if food was scarce I would. I’ve been wanting meat chickens for the last year but haven’t ordered any so the egg layers will have to suffice. All the ladies get to live out their lives after their service although its expensive. Loved seeing all the wonder baby gifts. Blessings to all the generous people.

There are many small farm practices that are outstanding and we love. One Exception: Our Family will not drink raw milk because my Grandmother's Sister died from a bacteria in raw milk. The memory sticks.

Im sorry for your loss...i love raw milk... so in the future would you pasteurize your raw milk to kill bacteria? i am firmly against the homogenization and chemicals like rbst added to milk you buy in the store. Hope im not prying just curious because this is the first ive ever heard of a death from raw milk...ive had people tell me their milk went sour quick and ive also had some stomach upset issue from milk i may not have filtered properly. My youngest daughter (youngest of 8 children, 5 girls and 3 boys) is almost the exact age of your oldest. She was born on August 10, 2010. When I was watching this video, Selah reminded me of my sweet Kieri Dot by how she's excited to learn how to take care of the new baby. We welcomed a new baby granddaughter 4 months ago and Kieri is an old pro at burping the baby now haha! Congratulations on your wonderful family as well as the new addition soon to come. Lacey, have you also considered potassium levels in relation to cramps? I have severe muscle cramps that encompass toes to hips. I tried electrolytes, mineral salt (Celtic, Redmond, pink), etc ...but what has helped the most is paying attention to those ....plus potassium levels. Avocadoes are high in potassium. You probably knew that. :) I thoroughly enjoyed this video and seeing y'all being blessed with things for the new little one!! Thank you for sharing with us.❤️🤗

My family's favorite way to make turkey is stuff it with all different kinds of citrus. Grapefruit, orange,lemon, and lime. I usually chopped them into chunks and slice one of each into rounds to place on top. I butter up the turkey and put Herbs de Provence and salt on top. Make sure the Herbs de Provence is the one with lavender. It is basically an Italian seasoning but with lavender added. Then place the slices on top and bake how you normally would a turkey. It comes out soo juicy and yummy.
