I heard a couple of former opponents say that Gene was more feared leading the sweep than Jerry Kramer. It is sad that his health was failing before he got the nod.

When did he get inducted? I know that he sadly passed.

@@AmirKhan-yv8jm 2007. It was sad because he didn't seem to know what was going on at that stage. Jim Brown spoke for him.

The BIGGEST Mistake the HOF Voters ever made! It was an absolute Travesty that Mr. Hickerson couldn't enjoy his deserving day while still healthy years earlier 😢 .
