We start from the TA Truck Stop in Jackson, GA to I-75. Then North on I-75 into the Atlanta Metro Area to I-285. Then West/North/East on I-285 around the South and West sides/suburbs of Atlanta (while passing under Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Int'l Airport in the process) back to I-75. Then North on I-75 thru Marietta and into the Chattanooga, TN Metro Area and into Tennessee to I-24 in Chattanooga. (See the reply for part 2 of this recap)

Then West on I-24 passing by Downtown Chattanooga and Lookout Mountain and back into Georgia briefly before reentering Tennessee and thru Monteagle Mountain and into the Nashville, TN Metro Area and into Nashville (with a good shot of Downtown Nashville in the process) (while merging with I-40 in the process) to I-65 near Downtown Nashville. Then North on I-65 into Kentucky and thru Bowling Green to the Speedway Truck Stop in Smiths Grove, KY where Steve ends for the day while awaiting for his delivery appointment the next morning in Oakland, KY and we have a watch party afterwards.

You’d also “hate” driving on i65 and i264 in Louisville.. was on 65 the other day and saw that there was a plane coming. Few moments later, I was looking for it, looking for it. Soon as I was about to say “where the … did it go?” Boom! Right on top on me! Never been that close to a plane while driving. It was awesome! .. Lil’ scary too lol
