We are sitting here in our Brinkley Z on its maiden voyage watching your video. We absolutely love this RV. This company does so many things better. We hope to do a live factory tour someday. In the meantime, thanks Big Truck Big RV for the virtual.

Love the Brinkleys so far. We are weekend warriors with the fact that we weekend as much as possible. We travel with our fur baby so we look for Rvs with no floor vents. My husband is a vet and pet hair sometimes causes his desert storm elements to flare up. So we are also looking for a bath and a half with some kind of work space for my husband since he works from home. I am so looking forward to any of the brinkley that they put out. They have SO many WONDERFUL features that most manufactures are just missing out on. Thank you for sharing the factory with us. So glad they not only put together a GREAT product but also care for their workers' well-being.

With nearly 40 years of mechanical design, failure analysis and quality control manufacturing engineering experience, awesome to view an RV manufacture that truly understands 100% respect to people, value and service like no other. Would like to see a full synthetic sub floor which Airstream and Ember use in addition to double Azdel side walls and full metal and synthetic roof system. Not a fan of wood and TPO roof systems. Wood will expand and contract based on humidity levels, can crack, rot, mold and mildew.

I normally really like your videos but watching this Brinkley factory tour series I was perplexed in all three videos (especially this one) where you spoke so much and we rarely heard from the Brinkley folks themselves. You were explaining THEIR factory. Why not let them explain the parts of their factory and how it runs? I get you should ask interview questions and add commentary here and there but there was so much video of you talking as your camera is pointed at the Brinkley folks saying nothing and just head nodding. The tangent about towing with a fifth wheel really distracted from why you are there which is to talk about the Brinkley models. I hope your final video allows us to hear more from the Brinkley folks. I am about to place an order for a Brinkley unit and I was excited to hear from them because I don't think we will make a factory tour before we order. Please take my feedback as constructive and not just critical. 🙂 P.S. We all do this sometimes. I sometimes do myself.

I agree. On the first video I was under the impression the factory folks were disappointed with all of the talking. It’s an art to interview and stay out of the way. Mad respect to this channel. But these are tough to watch.

Yeah I was getting the same vibes. JD was just going on and on and the Brinkley guys werent getting much time to talk about "their" factory. This is one of those types of videos were you let the other folks do the talking and ask questions in between. The Brinkleys guys looked a bit out of sorts about it and seemed to be ready for it to be over. Definitely not one of JD's better videos.

Agree as well. I've stopped watching many of the videos on this channel or I fast forward through all the talking. To much talking, they have tuned in to rant videos.
@chrisslater1936 Жыл бұрын
100000% agree with this. Go watch the Alliance Factory tour, those guys were like a kid in a candy shop showing the factory. I do think the RV is built really well though and Brinkley is doing great things but this factory tour was tough to watch.

I'm not shitting on JD either, i like him. He doesn't talk too much in his other videos, in my opinion. But maybe on this one, he wanted to look knowledgable to the guys? Explaining, then looking for yea/nay, instead of letting them explain? It wasn't terrible to be fair, they explained a lot of their stuff in this video i think.

I cleaned up the wiring in my fifth wheel as well. There was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much wire under the mid bunk wardrobe. OH, and the kicker was when I cleaned up the wiring from the battery to the converter. For some reason, when they ran the 6awg wire from the battery, which is in the front storage on the passenger side under the fifth wheel, it went along the front, down the driver's side, then back across to the mid bunk and up into the converter. I cut out 20 feet... 20 FEET of wire. There were no other connections. This was a continuous run.

Luan on the interior and Azdel on the exterior and the idea is you keep the water out and you won't have water problems on the inside-----Pardon me one second -----Ha, ha ha ha. I have a friend that's been in the RV repair business for over 30 years and he always says that there are only two types of RVs, those that leak, and those that are going to leak. I do like most of what they are doing though.

I have been looking at RV's for a couple of years now and from what I see on KZbin is problems with craftsmanship. The warranty issues with these other RV manufactures is out of control. After looking at the G model I think this is the one. I will be at the Tampa RV show in June to see the G model and I'm looking forward to it. Thanks for sharing the factory video's!

Trying to convince Brinkley team people should not tow behind their 5’ers! They provide the hitch and the wiring, not to mention the warranty! You need to rethink your opinion on this, or point to examples of damaged frames or sidewalls from the practice.
@scottmuesse4738 Жыл бұрын
Well put. It was like he was irritated that they wouldn't say he was right. I have double towed for years and do not agree with his thoughts on it. Show proof of the damage it causes, I've personally never seen or heard of it. Lack of experience and improper loading are the only issues I've ever seen.

Honestly, I think Brinkleys are nice but Rockwood and Flagstaff build a better RV when it comes to construction materials. Rockwoods are fully framed in aluminum including all walls, floor, roof (lifetime warranty) bed and dinette, dexter torsion axles, dual Azdel on exterior and interior of walls. Too many people jumping on the shiny new object and not looking at the quality from the ground up or the foundation it's built on. Brinkleys for the most part are built exactly like GD and we all see how great they are anymore.

How mouseable are trailers these days? Is the underdecking impossible for them to crawl through as long as it's not damaged, or do you have to check the unit once a month while it's winterized or stored?

Totally impressed with this product. But… The roof truss system tapers on the edges which means the insulation is less on the edge. Not good. Also how is it possible to have a real R40 in the roof? I believe they are adding the theoretical values of each material. A home R40 Would be almost a foot thick. So I dont believe their claim to have a roof value of R40. But I really appreciate their seam and roof construction. This is definitely a brand I would consider if I replace my existing fifth wheel (Arctic Fox).

This definitely wasn't your best work. It seemed more like an advertisement for Brinkley. The Brinkley managers were lifeless and it looked like you were there to prop them up instead of interview them. This was a disappointment.

Hello my friend, sometimes I go into depth in areas where they don't because something that they do that stands out to me might not stand out to them. These videos are more for folks who do not know typical RV construction. It's worth pointing out things that I see as impactful that many may not.
