For a small 5th when I think they really nailed the layout. I wish they would think about doing a layout like this on like a Riverstone. I think there is an untouched market for compact luxury 5th wheels.

8 foot width and getting in and out of bed with that floor space is a bummer. Check the floor on each side if the bed and figure out how you can get dressed in the morning. 8.5 foot width 5th Wheels are best and strong framing vs this RV shown. Check out the windows for thermopane and size of the AC.

Usually, I’m not a fan of small RV’s, but this one is really nice. I like the floorplan and interior colors, and the bathroom and bedroom are of a good size. I could easily live in this rig full-time, but not sure where I could send my wife to live.

This is a great little 5th wheel. My only comment, and some may think I am weird, but the bathroom door needs to open the other way. This is mainly a couple's rv and if the door opened the other way, you could open the bathroom door...it would basically close off the bedroom and bathroom, making the bathroom seem bigger. Also, at night, you would not have to go down the steps to open the door, up the steps to get to the bathroom, then go back down the steps to close the door, then back up the steps to get back to bed. That's the way our Chaparral 360IBL bathroom door opens ("backward" as I suggested) and we love it. Hope this makes sense

Superb. Forestriver always gives you more bang for your buck. Front glass cap, outdoor kitchen, large farmhouse sink, pantry, solar, walk around bed, and the kitchen bar/work station. And all that natural light. I love it. Great find.

Take a look at the Arctic Fox 27-5L. It's 29 ft 5 inches with strong framing and while it weighs more, it doesn't rattle itself down the road. 8.5 feet wide might not seem like much, but it really is! :-)

Wow, I really like this one… the compartments all fit a couple. & the kitchen at the back with the views is perfect!!! We also work in the oilfield & this unit would work 100% I could in-vision my hubby with his computer at the counter viewing the work & the window we would change to have a small opening to hand paperwork through., we have an aluminum 2 step that workers can use to the window… which means no dirty boots entry… we would also add a special floor matting that has a lip to keep his boots off the nice floor.. Other than mounting our sat dish on the roof, & add speakers, & additional solar panel along with the window change out… it’s perfect!!!

Nice colors for the interior. One disadvantage is the travel mode with steps on the left. Likely can not get to bathroom/ bed in travel mode. Great to see more of the smaller FW's

I prefer being able to get to bathroom without having to open slide as you are traveling down the road. So many fifth wheels block the stairs when the slide is in.

I towed my Jayco 265BHS with an F150. 9950GVWR and 7323lbs dry weight. Pin weight was 1390(empty) currently she is about 8500lbs, and 189lbs pin. I tow a second trailer(1100lbs empty, 2600 loaded) I'mcurrently towing it with and F250 HCTTP(10800lb GVWR) it's a derated F350(same axles and springs). All together, the combination, exceeds every halfton's GCWR. Ford F150 is the closest at 19,100lbs GCWR(3.5EB HDPP)

If I was looking for a new trailer, this one would be near the top of my list. The floorplan is really nice, main issues for me would be figuring out some sort of auxiliary sleeping space without giving up the theater seats, and lowering the bar to use as a work desk. Other than that, the equalizer is an easy upgrade; the lack of Azdel is a drawback, but probably not a deal-breaker.

I have the skylight on my 2020 330RL Montana and I have to say... while we/I like the light - it has a blind to cover it - heat. Its a ton of roof maintenance as the clear plastic shells break and the seal needs to be checked often like the bathrooms. I'd prefer not having this. The risk vs reward of something going wrong is too high. One Skylight over the bathroom is enough. This is a nice 5ther light and featured rich. I like the rear windows as most camp areas (West Coast Ocean, Lake) are set up for back in views.

Nice. My only concerns are the bathroom door. It opening the other way or a pocket door would be better. The kitchen cabinets are way too high for us short people.

Mark it down on the calendar… BTBRV himself has found a compact 5th wheel that is POTENTIALLY half ton towable lol I personally still think it would be pushing it. 1400+ lbs of pin weight empty, by the time you put clothes, fill the basement storage, maybe washer and dryer, I think you would be closer to 1700lbs of pin weight. Now don’t forget to add the weight of your hitch, and people or animals in the truck with you. I think if your half ton had 2000lbs of payload it would still be close

Very nice small fifth wheel , I have an 2017 30ft forest river . This has many better upgrades but the one thing that kills the deal for me is you can not get up to the bedroom with out putting the slide out. Anyone that has traveled a lot & just needs a place late at night to pull over & sleep know putting the slide out can be an issue.

My half ton could do it when not fully loaded in the trailer, but I could probably only have 2 or 3 people in the truck since my payload is 1,805. However, I'm thinking the height might beat you up in the wind on a half ton. 🤔

A nice clean unit with decent features. I can't see how someone could load that thing down with 4000+ lbs of cargo given that it's a 2-room couples unit and there isn't that much storage space. The cargo number is basically just a brag item. The only half-ton that could tow this, though, is a pretty stripped down one. No F150 Lariats, Silverado LTs, or Ram 1500 Laramies will have capacity for this /at dry pin weight\, let alone stuff and SO. But a gas 2500 could rock this thing twice every day and 4x on Sunday. I'm actually really surprised the pin weight is that high; that's only 500-600 less dry-pin than my 42'. I would have thought this would be more in the 1000-1300 range given its length.

I find it funny that we now consider 5 tons of camper rolling down the road “Super Small”. A 1/2 ton framed truck is still a 1/2 ton frame no matter if you add airbags or extra springs or anything to decrease squat. Anything you add to the truck does not improve its structural (axel, frame, bearings, etc) strength. Actually, adding things onto the truck can decrease its cargo/tow capacity. You should never max out manufacturers’ max cargo or tow capacity. Do you max out other things you own in your home? No! Because you know it will increase wear/tear or possibility of breaking. Most sane people would say take max capacities and multiply by 75% (I am anal and use 60%) to get max safety towing. Please list all the 1/2 ton trucks that could meet this 75% safety towing recommendation. Truck manufacturers Do Not connect a 12’ high camper on to their vehicles to determine max cargo/towing specs. They actually use flat-bed trailers on a closed course. If a dealer promotes these as 1/2 ton towable, run the other way. Always have more truck than you need.

Very nice little camper. I pull a 27.5' 2004 Ameri-Camp with my 1 ton diesel RAM. Easy on the truck and if you can't get along in 27', you can't get along in 40'.

Ya this is very much a 5W that you get set up exactly as you want for you and your SO. Put what you want on it, store stuff in it, park it, and on a lark you can just landing-gear-up and roll out with everything in its place. Very quick and easy to pack up and move on to the next stop as well.

There are some really small ones from the 80s and 90s that were 5Ws - basically TTs with a 5W front "loft" area and king pin. Many were much smaller than this, although this one would definitely be one of the smallest modern 5Ws currently available.
