"STAIRS" for loft...YAY! Need to see more of this rather than those very badly made ladders....LOL These steps are pretty unique to. Like them but not sure my pups will. Will have to test them. Those tiles in bathroom shower have been coming loose when staying in overly warm areas. I saw another video where adding some type of wall screws in each one helped keep them in place. They are noticeable inside the shower, but how it was done was not tacky at all. Looked decorative. Not sure if this is a wall insulation thickness problem or what. And I'm pretty sure the cutting board in the kitchen sink fits into that missing section of the slide out counter top, that our narrator was curious about.

This looks like a great layout! Thanks for all the reviews you do! These are things that stand out or questions that I have... 1. No chrome, glitzy, overly polished surfaces. Plus mostly white/off-white surfaces with dark trim. That's fantastic! How it ever came into the manufacturers' heads that real people want glitz and chrome -- or ever wanted glitz and chrome -- has always eluded me, especially with the million-dollar RV's and Fifth Wheels. Good design doesn't seek to impress with sleek chrome and glitz. It impresses by disappearing into form and function, natural room flow, durable appliances and fixtures that just work and lighting that compliments without glare or pomp. Most RV's over a million dollars tend to come across as vulgar -- with importance placed more on ostentation than beauty in function. 2. This isn't close to a million dollar RV, and yet I would choose this Fifth Wheel over some of the more gltizy million-dollar RV's. This is in no way ostentatious, and yet outwardly it fits form and function well under multiple use cases, as you pointed out. 3. My concern is whether they've used stapled particle board or glue, screws and real wood. For anyone living long-term in an RV, staples and particle board simply don't last. Again, this is where durability comes in to play. Which are we seeing in a model of this cost range? If this is wood, glue and screw, I'd give this model a closer look. 4. Washer Dryer hookup is possible! How durable and easily repairable are the appliances that have been installed? 5. Solar and LiFePo batteries would be great on something like this. 6. Not an easy area for CPAP machines in the MBR.
@MichaelBrown-kk6ck4 жыл бұрын
Would a queen bed give you better space for CPAP?
@LaughterOnWater4 жыл бұрын
@@MichaelBrown-kk6ck It's less about the size of the bed. You need a shelf or cubby where a CPAP can sit securely without being in the way ideally below the level of the mattress to reduce the likelihood of rainout. This design includes no such shelf or cubby approximating the role of nightstand where a CPAP would normally sit.
@MichaelBrown-kk6ck4 жыл бұрын
@@LaughterOnWater Right, but I’ve seen a bunch of plans where a queen bed leaves room for a couple of small cabinets with enough room on top for your CPAP, but no cabinets if you get the king bed instead. I’ve never paid much attention to whether my CPAP is above or below head level as I don’t use the water tank. For me a queen is a good size and I’d very much want the bedside tables/cabinets for CPAP/phone/etc.
@LaughterOnWater4 жыл бұрын
@@MichaelBrown-kk6ck Sounds about right! Besides the reduction in rainout (I do use a tank), keeping the blower below the mattress adds additional noise baffle. I can barely hear my CPAP from the bed level. It's also better for my wife so the lights don't wake her when I have to get up and she wants to sleep. Below the bed level is good!

"You have a 2 in receiver..." That is *very* limited in what it can do thanks to that slide. Fortunately, not a big deal, because those are generally limited to light things like cargo racks anyway. . It's a shame the loft isn't 4-6in taller, but for kids, it's probably fine. All in all, I love the floor plan. It pretty much has everything one could want in terms of features; washer/dryer hookups, the ability for more than 1 person to use the bathroom, room for kids, full-featured kitchen. . The only complaint I could have is a lack of sink for the outdoor kitchen, but a sprayer or something could be added to resolve that problem
