Our new volvos you can't turn eco mode off so stuck with the 10kph speed drop, very annoying.

It’s because your company chose this, apparently they don’t rely on the driver to drive economically. Some companies have requested to set the speed limiter at 80.

Shit looking truck, right now the uggliest on the market, after him Its new Mercedes e600. Best looking Volvo truck was FH4 line from 2013-2021. Full lights, analog dashboard and ofc mirrors, not this camera bullshit and laptop. You are getting fined for using mobile device while driving, but they are replacing gumbs with laptop!? Whats the point with that? In few years, there will be no gumbs in Mercedes trucks. Come on, stop with that nonsense 😢

@@markov846 yea bud, these stupid computer on wheels will never ever have the redundancy of an airplane with fly by wire tech and glass dashboard instrumentation! Besides that aspect, the glass displays are too damn small to have all of the necessary gauges on constant display and running the buttons going through the gauge menu in order to monitor some things like drivetrain temps or other engine parameters it’s not practical in the least and dangerous because it creates an unnecessary distraction. The replacing of the exterior mirrors with cameras and inside monitors is a turd of a thing too! The reproduction on the little screens is not the same as looking in the mirror as far as being able to judge angles when maneuvering the rig at the docks and in tight spaces. Nah, as far as the trucks are concerned the good old analogue dashboard instruments and real mirrors will never be successfully replaced by the stupid electronic junk they’re so desperately trying to push in these days! The idiots pushing this electronic junk never drove a truck for a living and don’t have the foggiest idea of what works the best in a truck!

@@hereintranzit yeah mate, the best explanation ive ever heard about that situations. Like Michael Jackson said "They dont really care about us", it can be said in this situation too. They dont give a living shit about drivers, only about their customers. They are constantly talking shit this this that that bla bla bla, fuel consumption, aerodynamic, but no one cares about drivers. With God, soon I will buy myself old Volvo which i talked about. Die cabine wordt toch stilaan wat uitgekeken he , en wat aan de kleine kant in vergelijking met de andere merken , die stoel moet je daar niet in het al smalle bed duwen he , het is een spijtige zaak jammer van volvo!!!!!

tis wel jammer dat het "neusje" gewoon een nieuw frontje is van 25cm ipv een nieuwe cabine.... als of het een soort spoedje is geweest om maar zo snel mogelijk iets op de markt te krijgen. op 1:05 zie je precies hoe de oude lijn en de nieuwe voorkant 2 losse delen zijn .... tis net een planten bak voor t raam

That thing looks darn ugly with that ‘bubble face’, but that’s only my opinion. Besides that, wouldn’t it have been a better use of the 25cm if they made the cab deeper by 25cm in order to give the driver a little wider mattress to sleep on and a little bit more leg room up front? In general, the European trucks are a bit more advanced from an engineering point of view than the American trucks, but that little bitty “park bench” right behind the seats passing for a sleeper berth, well, that’s just stupid, ain’t it? Anywho, I think that it’s darn high time for the EU truck regulators to change these current antiquated overall length regulations and allow the tractor-trucks to be lengthened by at least one meter (1000 mm) in order to allow a longer cab equipped with a wider mattress (at minimum 1m) and a little more storage in the space left behind the seats and of course more legroom upfront, right? If they don’t want to lengthen the trucks, then maybe upping the commercial truck speed from the current 80km/h to something more practical like 110km/h (70 mi/h) would improve allot on delivery time, getting more work done faster and shortening the turn-around time for the driver, thus less nights spent in the truck would be a good compromise for the sh!tty small sleeper cabs? Well, can’t really expect any brains and some common sense from the politicians, can you?
