To black that front mat up, use cherry blossom boot polish (the one with the sponge applicator) stick it on a rag and rub it on. Dries well. Restores the black and lasts ages. (My bumpers were done 2 years ago and still look great) I did my interior with it as well and looked spot on.

Another great video Mel. I do miss my 5t Commer walkthrough, Perkins engine 4208ci? My memory fades. Either way I could stand up in the cab. Although I was entertained watching this, it dawned on me that the basic yet crucial things you were doing, ie tapping and greasing bolts in rusty body are vital, it may not occur to many folk to do it. It takes minutes and is free, compared to welding in a plate with new threaded inserts, in exactly the same place. Keep passing on the knowledge we've accumulated from years of experience.

Mel. Two easy jobs that will save you a fortune in the long run. 1. Fit a secondary oil filter - drop in cartridge type. 2. install a manual grease system for the running gear and what ever else you fancy. I used to change the oil filters every couple of months 2 minute job. and a couple of pumps on the greaser once a month. it all makes the van double bomb proof.

I have been in one a van conversion to a coach it broke down in a layby it was a brake problem it was a very uncomfortable bus I would remove the blind on the windscreen and put a big sun visor on the front

That Truck bed Textured Paint might have been a Better Option , added Sound deadning too..A sheet of Vapour Block on top too.

What an awesome van you've got there Mel ,I really like the varios, I know on the early vario 508s the oil type for the gearbox uses ATF fluid not gear oil ,not sure if its same box in the newer ones , the unimogs are another awesome build . Looking forward to seeing the build 🚐👍

Hello Mel. off topic, as you have been on you tube a while i thought you are the man to ask. ref putting music on videos that would be placed on you tube, can you use copyrighted music if you have no interest in your channel being monetized ? as another chap i follow has music playing and is not bothered as they have no interest in making money from the channel. will he eventually be pulled by you tube or wont they bother him, do you know ?

So what happens is all the add revenue goes to the owners of the music which is ok if you don’t rely solely on KZbin as your income.

Also if the owner of the music doesn’t like the fact your using there music and complain KZbin will give you a copyright violation strike once a channel gets 3 strikes your out KZbin will close your channel. I’ve worked hard and dedicated a lot of time on my channel so I’m simply not able to risk it
