But Jesus came to call the yoked to the world to repentance. That's the whole essence of Jesus. So cos he was slapped doesn't mean he's not a genuine man for God! This is part of what it is following christ . Persecution! Read Matthew 5. The beatitudes. Were the apostles not beaten and slapped? They were! Jesus nkor? Same thing done to Him! To *suffer* so much for Christ sake, read his encounter with Christ on the way to Damascus and how he received the great commission. 2nd is to call the gentiles to Christ.
