I live in Dum Dum West Bengal. Near my flat a paan shop is located. Two bihari youths sell paan in this shop. Oneday one of them told me I consider myself a Bengalee because I was born and brought up in Bengal. There are many many shop owners in Dum Dum who have been living here for decades but whose ancestral home is in UP or Bihar. I have not seen a single feud or fight among a Bihari and a Bengalee in my lifetime. We live as brothers as fellow citizens. Durga puja is celebrated not only by Bengalees but also by non bengalee people. As a Bengalee I feel proud of it.
