I bought this monitor roughly 6 weeks ago. I did so so so much research on my other options including a few monitors youve already done videos on. Thankfully through you, I was able to understand every single aspect that mattered when it came to monitor purchasing. Now you've done a video on the monitor I have! And I love it! Your videos are great! Keep up the great work! Something to note however, is that the 100x100 Vesa Mounting bracket is lower on the monitor than other monitors, so if you are planning on mounting this monitor, please expect this! I also got this monitor for $350 when it went on sale through newegg xD

3700x 2070super. will be getting GTX3080 and ps5. what monitor should I get? I play competitive AND casual. Thinking benq XL2546K for now. Then getting a 2nd, higher res "pretty" monitor and switching between them depending on the game. OR getting a Samsung g7 and using only the one. Should I just wait for the upcoming monitors?? I like the "bang for buck" over "top of the line at any price" approach. But id be happy to spend 1000 bucks on one monitor instead of 500 on 2. HDMI 2.1 is a consideration but I'm feeling that next gen consoles may not actually make use of it. plus I main PC. so DP is king anyways. Advice?

Imo your underrating this monitor for some people that like ELMB. Firstly it's one of the only monitors where ELMB actually works well with the Quality preset, along with Benq XL2546 and DYAC. In all Asus monitors the overdrive is locked at 80 or 100 when using ELMB which creates overshoot. The ELMB in MSI is even worse than Asus. The Gigabyte also has much nicer color accuracy than the Benq and no backlight bleed. I also drop black equalizer from default 10 to 9 when playing Valorant as it makes everything easier to see as it's such a bright game, and boost color saturation from 10 to 12, it's perfect. Is the monitor overpriced? Yes, but so are the Benq. The gigabyte is a great alternative to the Benq imo. The drop in brightness when using ELMB doesn't bother me, but if it does for some then that's what the Benq is there for.

3:34 . In the quality mode pictures , if you follow the ufo with your eyes you seeing the same think as the image ? I think in person it has to be better . I am doing the ufo test right now with the old alienware aw2518hf and on normal mode I can almost clearly the three dots . What I see is between the Elmb mode and the speed mode but more close to the Elmb . If what the picture in the quality mode is what you see with your eyes ,then its not fast and I believe the new Aorus has to be better that the dell .

Most likely not. Manufacturing costs will stay the same so it wouldn't make sense for them to drop pricing. Based on previous black friday deals, most likely not. I'll be looking though.

I own a 34 inch Alienware monitor. it used to be for gaming, then I started playing cs and now I get this. I hope the extra brightness is worth $150 more compared to those $350 IPS panels. By the way, I've heard from my friend that the panel is the same 1.9 panel, however, Zowie caliberated it to be more color-vibrant than the xl2546s. Wish me luck that it's a good investment. :)

Had the xl2546 before, too bright for my eyes and it gave me too much eye strain. So i sold it. I thought of buying kd25f, but when i saw your MSI Mag251rx review and saw its features, i became interested with the monitor especially since i play with low brightness so the mbr/elmb issue you pointed out doesnt apply to me. (although there is also a software that lets u bypass thr fix brightness). At the end i bought the msi mag251rx which is significantly cheaper than the kd25f. And all i can say is wow. For me the slight motion clarity difference over tn (xl2546 nons) is neglectible in games and movies (At least for me. I play fps games like valorant, pubg, wz, and apex. I also play single player AAA games). The input lag of mag251rx is also much better. Also coming from a tn i ddnt think that the color of an IPs would that better! It can display 10bits(8bit +2frc) color and the viewing angle is so much better. I would say that people should really at least try out the new 240hz ips panel first before buying the 240hz TNs. Well for the price of the KD25F, the XL2546(S/K) are the same price and I'd choose those in a heartbeat over the Aorus. It's overall better. The Acer on the other hand, I've not used but if it's anything like their XB3 240Hz, I'm not interested.

I own the KD25f and a XL2540k . The smoothness of KD25f is too flawless, the XL2540k can't compete here ! The stand is just trolling but doesn't affect performance and the Black Equalizer is a garbage feature in general so you don't need it. Just take the KD25F over any 240hz TN panel if you're playing FPS games and thanks me later. :)

They're both great. If you like 24 inches, get the MSI. If you like 27 inches, get the ViewSonic. But the viewsonic does have poor pixel density because of its size for 1080p.

If you're restricted to $400 US, then the ViewSonic would be better, I just wish it was 25 inches. But if you don't mind spending a little more, the XL2546 or the upcoming 2546K is best. $500.

So when you say Aourus isn‘t worth it, i need to compare the other four/ three ips between eah other and then the winner with the BenQ. I guess I have to rewatch your vids on the four monitors then 😅
