Just can't get my head around the mindset of of some people who always find negativities in even the most positive and pleasurable moments/memories of life. Who cares whose music it is and from which country, it's a masterpiece and pure talents that captivates their audience. Peace on earth and harmony among-st living being.

As an Indian classical music enthusiast, what strikes me is the resemblance of the tune to Raag Kirwani.
@EthnoKuchToByMohanish3 ай бұрын
for those of us who understand indian music (classical may not be the right term to use here, perhaps systematic music), so its difficult to drop the lens of our music and listen to other forms as they are. what do you think?
@rishirajbaul37273 ай бұрын
I mean, if I lack knowledge about technicalities of said form of music, I can only use what reference I have... My comment was meant to hint towards possible common origins of the content of Indian and Iranian music, in line with the similarity of instruments used.

An Indian was in here and removed their post. They put down a person for saying this is not a Santur, it is a Santoor which is, he claims to be Indian. So after putting down a the person and telling them how to use Google I replied and the post was deleted. My advise is please use facts if you want to make fun of a person while claiming to be intelligent. ============== Bro, let me explain , since you seem to be intelligent. We are typing in English. There is only one spelling in Parsi for the ooo sound and in Latin/English it can be oo, u or even ou. So you saying Parsi is u and Indian is oo, makes you an wrong. The name India is derived from Indus, which originates from the Old Persian word Hinduš. The latter term stems from the Sanskrit word Sindhu, which was the historical local appellation for the Indus River. Punjabi come from the Parsi words Panj/Punj meaning 5, AB meaning water/waters and I meaning people/thing/it/of. So Punabi means people of/from 5 Waters. Guess what, that is exactly what Punjabi is and located. Sikh is a Persian word for sword looking blade, we use them for Kababs. Sikhs carry what... thats right swords. Taj Mahal - Parsi for Taj meaning crown and Mahal meaning place/land. So in definition it is being called the most grand place in all of India. Well what is the Taj Mahal, The burial of the Persian Queen and designed by a Persian. The greatest poet to come out of India is named Rumi. He is Persian as well. Maybe you should use Google first before telling others to. Or ask a Persian first, we are here to help if you need it.
@fnersch33678 жыл бұрын
There is no excuse for any of this as we are supposed to be educated and use google for any immediate concerns. The hammer dulcimer is believed to have originated in the Middle East after wire drawing plates were invented and eventually ended up in China and Europe. Santoor is but one of many names for this instrument. Mr. Saghafi plays superbly.

@masadaqhussain27307 жыл бұрын
+feelinkink. Sikh is a word meaning disciple or student. It is a word used to describe a follower of the Sikh faith. The word you are referring to is "seekh" which literally is the word for a metal rod. The sword is a "talwar" and the ceremonial knife carried by Sikhs is a "kirpan". The rod you use for your kebabs is a "seekh". Mahal is the Urdu/Hindi word for palace. The lady buried in the Taj Mahal is the wife of the Mughal Emporer Shah Jehan. She was born in India, died in India, was of Mughal extraction. The nearest she got to being Persian was to speak the Persian language which was the language of the Mughal Royal Court. Rumi was born in either Afghanistan or Tajikistan, his resting place is in Konya in modern day Turkey. Nothing to do with India. Your two remaining explanations I would agree with. 2 out of 6 isn't bad.

بعد از عبور از مراحلی در آموزش سازها، از هنرآموز خواسته میشه مثلا در تنبک ترتیب زدن نت ها توسط دستان راست و چپ جابجا شود. بعنوان مثال اگه تم را با دست راست و در وسط تنبک اجرا می شد حالا با دست چپ انجام گیرد و الی آخر. این نوع تمرین و نواختن باعث افزایش کنترل دوچندان دستها می شود.
