ive been also riding alluminum frames for a long time.. bought myself a steel fixed last year. never going back to alluminium frames. steel is so much more smoother to ride and a lot better at absorbing bumps.

@@rejanrams I don't feel much of the absorving features of steel on my bike, maybe because it's a very light chromoly steel, I don't have any idea. Suspension fork is more comfortable but it's heavier and I prefer the looks of a non suspension fork.

they’re great, no flats (yet) i ran 4000s too no issues. really exceptional traction. i look forward to running them tubeless on another bike too. expect less kms out of supple tires in general, but so far so good!

My observation are the same. But when comes to ride a fixed gear, it is comfortable to dropping a seatpost a bit for comfortable reason, since you're backpedalling when braking.. this is my humble opinion..
