BIKE CHECK & RIDE | 2024 Pivot Firebird CUSTOM BUILD

Take a look at my new Pivot Firebird enduro mtb that I custom built! I haven't had or ridden an enduro bike in a couple of years so I'm super stoked to have one back in the mix! Can't wait to put more miles on this rig and maybe some races too!

Nice build! Can you share the grip and rolling speed difference between the new Wild Enduro MS vs DH22? Running a 2.5 MH rear seems awkward with a 2.4 up front. Any thoughts on this and why not run the new DH16 which is a 2.4. Thank you!

Curious how does it compare to the Patrol you had? Is one more playful/poppy than the other? One better climber? Etc.

Firebird is better in every way I’d say. The weight makes it easier to climb and throw around. I don’t have a ton of descent miles on it yet but liking it so far.

Can I ask How tall are you? Getting a large Firebird in a couple of days and wondering if a large would feel right for a 6 footer. My sweet spot is around 480 reach.

Did you try the vivid air? Did you try the vivid air in the mach 6?

The Vivid air can doesn’t fit on the Firebird from my experience. I saw a pic of someone running it and it looked like they had to grind the edge off of their can.
