Thanks again for a great review. Waiting patiently for our Diamond Llamas E assist with disc brakes. Your videos help a lot in my search for accessories

Just had my BF Diamond Llama E-assist delivered after 5 months of waiting. Pleasantly surprised they provided SKS Velo 55 fenders. They were listed on the order but I didnt notice.

Those fenders, or mudguards as we call them over here in the U.K. might just be what I’m looking for to fit my Pocket Companion. Many thanks for the tip.

Nice modifications. Question, what bar did you choose? I'm looking to do something similar.

great specs for a touring bike but I prefer the "off road" capabilities of the All Packa...unfortunately these are so expensive at $3000 + retail price!

Good looking bike! We have their tandem, aren't they such a joy to ride? I almost feel like we're cheating. They look like bikes but they really are so much more comfortable. Strangely, I don't ride my other bikes anymore. Thanks for sharing your click stand and fenders. I have been eyeballing those. Subscribed. Looking forward for more vids. Since you ride in the rain (which we don't), my question is ... do you clean your bike after each rainy ride? And if yes, what are your steps? We avoid riding in the rain simply because we really dread washing our bike.

Although I HAVE ridden in the rain, it is not a frequent practice at this point (Living in Arizona - vs when I lived in the midwest where it rained regularly - I normally just forgo a ride if it is raining or wet). At this point, I'll normally only ride in the rain if on a bike travel trip. In that happens, I will just shake off the bike (bounce it on its tires a few times) when I get to a dry spot and wipe down with a towel to get rid of the bulk of the moisture. As far as washing the bike, I do it as needed and it is no different than washing any other bike. Depending on how detailed I want to get with the cleaning, I'll just throw it on the bike stand (or simply supported by the Click Stand if doing a quick clean) and wash and rinse with a mild soap. As with any bike, avoid direct pressure to greased areas (hubs and other bearings, etc.). I am waxing the chain these days, but have used a variety of different types of chain lube over the years and all have done what they were supposed to do. It is really user preference, as what works for me might not work for you. I ride primarily in a dry/dusty environment, so dry lube is preferred. Wet lubes may be necessary in other situations, but for me (generally) they create more maintenance. I hope that helps.

Where do you store the stand rod.

My Click Stand is kept on a cradle/holder on top of the main tube (folded, of course). You can see it (black colored) in the video.
