Looks like I'm going to have to do the same thing to my daughter's 250R. Thanks for the video.

These are JIS head screws… not Phillips. That’s why it’s so easy to slip and round them out with the wrong screwdriver. I’ve heard that drywall bits work better than Phillips so that’s probably the way to go. I mean, good luck finding JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) drivers/bits in the USA.

I know this is an old video, but My el250 doesn't start and I'm sure its the carbs. I just cleaned them, though I may take another crack at that, but what are the settings you use for the bottom adjustment screws and how should I adjust the butterfly valves? I think the guy I bought it from monkeyed with it.

If it’s the same gas going in both sides, why is only one side full of varnish?

Great video. I should clean my carburetors but I am not really confident in detaching the carbs from the bike, and later installing back. You know how to make good quality videos, so when you should find yourself out of ideas what video to make, that one would definitely be appreciated, although it probably won't be the most popular video on KZbin.

@@xxIONBOMBxx Thanks for encouragement but I found a dude who knows what's wrong with my bike and looks like the main reason why is it not starting up anymore is the malfunctioning fuel pump relay. But probably carbs are also dirty. Will see what happens when the fuel pump relay gets replaced.

So I started cleaning my carbs and two brass sleeves fell out of the top and they were never shown in this or any other vid I've seen.

Hey man, I’m 31 years old. I got a ninja 250 2012 new and I haven’t ridden it in 10 years. I could use some help getting it running again. I am very handy with tools and what not. I have this exact bike and problem. Any chance I could reach out if I run into anything I can’t figure out based on the videos?
