Got a quick question for ya. The only bike i might be able to get that seems halfway good is the G1 explorer from ozark trail. Do you think it would be an ok bike to travel across the usa if you have even looked at the bikes?

The G1 seems like a sturdy bike that could make the journey. Plus it being pretty brand new is always in your favor. On long distance rides I use Schwalbe Marathon tires, guaranteed zero flats from coast to coast. the G1 comes on Kendas, still pretty good tires. Let me know if you have any other questions. @TravelingThru222 is there a free map bike app you suggest. I like Google maps due to street view and it let's me look for good shoulders on roads. But I seem to be in a really bad bike location trying to get from Texarkana area to colorado springs area or even Deadwood SD but my town is just bad for bikes till you get to almost idabel OK
