Enjoyed the video, however the most westerly point of the uk mainland is actually Ardnamurchan Point on the west coast of Scotland.

I stand corrected and have learnt something today. Many thanks for watching the video.

Great ride! Nicely documented. As a cyclist myself, I know how time-consuming it is to stop for photos and vídeos. I do mostly photos in places. But sometimes, just the riding is enough. Your bike is a Topstone, with 105 groupset - which model is it? I've got a Topstone 2 myself, and the seat stays on mine (year 2023) are lower down, and my groupset is the GRX400, I'd say 105 is better. I've cycled 20,000kms this year 2024, and it hasn't missed a beat. Really trustworthy, reliable bike. It's a little heavy, but it's okay. I hv two sets of wheels, one with 28' rd tyres and another set with gravel tyres. I swap them when I please. I've cycled to Norfolk Coast via King's Lynn, Castle Rising, Sandringham, Castle Acre etc, and back, from Cambridge this summer, 265kms - and I also did Cambridge/Ipswich/Melton/Sutton Hoo/Aldeburgh/Framlingham/Bury St. Edmunds./Cambridge - my longest ride @ 302kms, one single day ride. I've cycled stretches of Icknield Way, but many are not even rideable/unpassable most of the year, overgrown, or too much mud. I plan to do Wolf Way, in the future, Peddars Way, and several other known old UK routes, King Alfred's, etc. I only know routes up to 200kms radius of Cambridge, all directions. Plan to explore further out, Scotland, etc, in the future, if I can. From Cambridge, I cycle out towards Thetford forest often and encounter sandy tracks, as I did north of Ipswich on the costal path heading to Aldeburgh - I don't like sandy tracks at all. It's a nightmare, even without luggage/bags. 🙄🙂 It's part of the fun, I guess, but no, thank you. Happy safe riding! 👍🚵♂️

I'm not sure which model my Topstone is, but it runs the 105 groupset. Perhaps not that gravel focused, but it is ideal for the road sections. The Kings Alfred's Way is the most challenging of these rides, and the sections along the South Downs Way are especially rough, and there is a lot of sand in the Devils Punchbowl area. So, 40mm+ tyres are essential, the Pirelli Gravel M I'm using at the moment are good in sand. Enjoy your cycling!

Good trip description from a riding standpoint. How did you find packing with the lomo seat bag, I have the same and have to stuff it with light soft items to prevent it swaying. 😀

It does sway so I pack the heavy items near the seat post. But it was a lot less expensive than the premium brands.
