Hello sir, thanks for the brief video. I was planning to send my bike from chandigarh to Bangalore and had a few questions in mind which probably you could answer 1. How safe is to send the bike through parcel as I've seen people complaining about scratches and dents. Did you face any such issue? 2. Does Railway provide insurance for the bike? 3. How good is the packing? Is bubble wrap available?

1. More than 5 times I sent my bike via train not find any single scratch. RE is pure metal bike. 2. Insurance is mandatory, hope you are having your bike insurance. 3. Packing depends upon cost if you give them 100 or 200₹ extra they will do good packing, bubble rap depends on availability. Hi Sir. Thanks on the update on the previous questions asked. I had a few more and thought I could take your wisdom on this. 1. Do we need to pre-book bike parcel a week or two before or can we just straight away go on the same day and send our bike parcel to the designated station. Like for example, I could see that 22nd of this month there is a train, do I need to pre book?(chd-ysvntpur) 2. The whole process of packing is done by a third party or are the packers a part of railways only? If yes, are they the one who gives out receipts of the bike parcel? Or 3. Whats the process of bike parcel? Should I book on the station and then come and get my bike packed? Thank you Ritwik

@@ritwikdhawan8253 you need to reach the station minimum 3 hours before to train departure time and packaging is done by outside vendors you can easily identify, watch the complete video you will get the idea

Hello sir, thanks on ghe previous update. Have parcelled my bike from Chd to bnglr. Issues I faced during this was- No proper locatoom for bike packaging, got confused as I went through the opposite side of the station. Also they charged me 1000 for the bike packing which seemed very expensive, although I was satisfied with the packaging. You have to take your bike all the way to the parcel office from the packaging area which was around 150-200 Mtr. The parcel inspector has to check for the bike if it has any petrol so for that you have to start ignition of the bike, considering my bike was packed, I had to undo some of it to reach to the key ignition. After all this, they weren't sure if the bike would would be stalled today itself on the train as it depends on the priority basis. Overall no issues
