Wow, great to know that BPW has actual mountain biking 😉and not just jumps and berms... might be worth a visit after all!

haha, yeah it's well manicured for sure, there's still a fair amount of natural style trails out there!

3 rides up has been the staple for us recently for 800 metres of climbing and a decent selection of descents for £13 can't go wrong.

Happy days, the climb isn't too bad either. Check out Barry Sidings next time you're peddling in the area!

@@MtbTrailHub yeah, been up there when wet and all three of us spent time having little lie downs with bikes on top of us. Been meaning to visit in dry though but this weekend riding Skyline (the original one from pre-2013 days with Excalibur, Grand Canyon and Handy Andy all back open) It's a big day though, over 50km and lots of elevation from Glyncorrwg.

@@TheBikeRoom wow, sounds like an epic one! I went to Barry’s a few weeks back and was blown away by the trails, some techy stuff on the dry let alone in the wet !

Went to BPW last week had afternoon uplift, peddled up few times before lunch then uplift pm. Best day on the mtb, was wired until 2am.
@MtbTrailHub3 жыл бұрын
Nice! I did the same the last time i was up there. I've heard the uplifts will go back to full day passes instead of split days at some point this winter, which will mean even more riding! When are you going back then? hahaa
@alanclayton23493 жыл бұрын
@@MtbTrailHub hopefully get a normal ride up soon, I work opposite BPW so have colleagues that ride. Uplifts are well worth the pay out. Especially if coming from afar like yourself. #rideon

Going to ride BPW for the first time at the end of October. I normally ride in the Forest of Dean so I’m really looking forward to riding some terrain with more rocks in. I did Coed y Brenin and the Marin trail at Llan Wrust a few weeks ago and that was awesome. Deffo tested my beginner level skills. What were the trails you were riding in this clip? Thanks for sharing.

You're welcome Frank, Good stuff...... Sounds like you've been riding some decent trails. You will be blown away by BPW and just the sheer amount of trails they have. Trails featured were..... Groot,roots manoeuvres,rock and roll and wobbly wobbly! Let me know how you get on!

I noticed your bike makes an odd noise down grout is this normal only asking cause my bikes the same from the rear shock I thought mine was knackered
@MtbTrailHub2 жыл бұрын
The noise comes from the headset on my bike, had it serviced, greased and changed but still an issue. If your shock is making noises id get the bushings looked at, they are usually one of the first things to go. Hopefully its nothing internal......

What camera and mount do you use
@MtbTrailHub3 жыл бұрын
I’m using the go pro 4 blk and the evo ss gimbal for pov footage. Go pro 7 for 3rd person. This set up has been bullet proof for years now but I think the new go pros eliminate the need for the gimbal. Looking to get the hero 9 for next season👍

Are usually like the reviews on this but I thought this video was useless; that is basically review of Groot and Root manoeuvers and misses out what a lot of riders will be looking for when they try the reds. Hardly anything vicious Valley in Surfin bird and missed a lot of the normal ones that people do. Root manoeuvers if you’re interested it’s a good review but not as an overall review have reds to BPW.
