May I ask what how tall are you? ; ) I'm almost 183 cm tall, my inseam length is 85,5 cm and I'm about to choose Team Marin fo myself, deliberating between L and XL sizes. What do you think? : )

I’m 178 and went with a Large. Not sure of my inseam. I have a mate in between sizes who sized down and regretted it. Hope that helps!

I have one of these and love it. Unfortunately, I found a crack in the frame a bit over a week ago but after a few emails, the replacement frame turned up today. Awesome service and I can't wait to get the bike up and running again.

For sure! I have a 15L saddle bag and 10L front roll from Geosmina, then a custom frame bag I made with a mate. Solid rig!

Thanks for your honest review, its been very hard getting a bike this year but I have just ordered the team2 now so it time to wait maybe August/October lol, I'm finding it hard to pick a size as I'm 176cm and could be med or large but can't get a bikes to sit on. How tall are you and what size have you gone with thanks.

I'm 178cm and ride the large Team 2. I definitely wouldn't want anything smaller. Hopefully you get a ripper!

How does the dropper post go with a seat pack? Does it still come back up fully with the extra weight?

Gets a little sticky at times, but to be honest I rarely use the dropper whilst bikepacking anyway. Usually save the gnarlier terrain for day missions.

@@lukewbarrett Lighter wheels will transform your bike to be snappier and easier to accelerate. Just look at your total weight with all equipment. They need to be strong. Yours are strong but 2200g. Get something up to 120KG and 1700g weight. 500g you will notice. I know I have the same bike. Same wheels. You can start with reducing your rotation weight by changing tubes for thermoplastic tubes. 60g each instead of 200. That is 300g alone just on tubes. Aliexpress is your friend for chap options like RideNow. Or Tubolito original tubes but they are pricey. RideNow is way cheaper. Get 3-4 (spare) tubes and patching kit. You have to use their patching kit. You can always go back to normal tubes. Or milk. But that depends on if you like milk and mess with it. Good luck. Great movie by the way. Good bike too :D
