You clipped the pack horse trail marker lol. That trail from Marsden was a pack horse route, hence the small pack horse bridge. The Marsden descent used to be a classic descent, unfortunately it was sanitized a few years ago with a digger. The stone step descent at the bottom used to be a very steep gully descent with a big drop to the right, it was great. Carr lane has a dark history, look up the guy who lives at the farm, total lowlife. The council actually resurfaced Carr lane with stone slabs, someone destroyed it all with a sledge hammer. Someone also dumped thousands of roofing nails along the track.

1:33 I love it around there. Doesn't look like much in this weather, but it's glorious when the sun is out. I go up from the other side (Newhey), and then down to Hollingworth Lake. Maybe I'll see you up there one day. Not been out for a while because the weather's been sh17e.

@Dani-El. That was my first time there. It's a nice ride! I filmed this mid December. Over Christmas I have been sick with flu so haven't been out much myself. Looking forward to getting back out on the trails. It's a small world so will be sure to say hello if we cross paths!

@@BikeTrekkingwithKarl There's a really fun trail that starts at Windy Hill Transmitter and leads down to Piethorn Res, pretty much where I timestamped in my last comment. Can be seen on Google maps. It can get a bit muddy in places, so best to go during an extended dry period so the ground hardens up.

Looks like it was some stone marker at 3.01 that you hit. Good thing you got off the moors before dark as there was a bad moon arising.

Yes it does look a bit like that in the video, but it was a much small rock in the middle of the path. I could tell because it stripped a few pins of the left peddle. Bad Moon Rising indeed! Haha.

Good Quality video for only 101 subs. Pretty new channel though Watching the video i take you own another channel or work in this field. Seems to be pretty decent editing skills and equipment off the bat.

@@MuttsCycles cheers! High praise in deed! Well yes and no to another channel.. I did try another channel a few years back, but had no idea how to do it and gave it up. What I have learnt regarding editing is mainly from doing this channel. If you watch my first video you will see it is totally different from this one. You may struggle to get all the way through it! haha. It's bad.. I try to learn something new every video. Equipment wise it's all low end, but I suppose that's opinion based. The drone is a DJI mini 4k (not to be confused with the pro model) I bought it very recently. It's one of the cheapest 4k drone you can get. The action camera is a DJI action 4. (Kind of like a go pro) and some shots are filmed on my phone. My mic is a cheap no name one of amazon. I actually have never worked in media in any capacity. I just like riding my bike and looking at stuff.. I am hoping by building the quality the subs will come.. But who knows lol. Thanks for the cool comment . You have made me feel like a pro!

Now, it says 885 views ..but..one of mine suddenly said 777 views, when all the rest had one or two views that I’d put on, and it was just an ordinary pretty boring walk I’d uploaded with my husband..so I’m wondering if You Tube add hundreds to certain videos to help it grow! I’m not putting your video down at all 🤣😂🤣 it’s worth hundreds and thousands ..they’re all great, but I t akes me wonder why we suddenly get a massive chunk of views randomly on one or two 🤔 Anyhow hope it helps your channel 🌈✝️🕊️😇😘🥰😍 x x x I’ve uploaded the dog walk around the lake now and where I’ve hidden the gift x x x ❤
