Hi there. Have you had any battery connection issues? How has it held up to this point? Any repairs/replacements? Thinking of getting one but I have read enough reviews on this bike and battery connection issues keep popping up. Have you had similar problems at all? Thanks.

Nope. And my wife has one too. I think the battery mount/connector was updated since people were having those issues.

Impressive! Is this the Air 2 just in FocusTrack mode? I'm considering getting the CCX too so I might be rolling with the same bike and drone set up, this was really inspiring to see.

hows that 33 mile commute with the battery range? i just got a ccx i have a 40 mile commute but im still nervous about the range so i havent started it yet i ordered an extra battery just in case but i probably should have reseached before doing so lol

It's more than enough for me. Typically, I keep it on level 2. But I have a hilly ride and I'm never nervous about running out of juice when I want to bump up the assist level. I usually only charge to 90% unless I know I'm going to have a strong head wind. I do bring my charger and charge at work too though. Couldn't do it otherwise. Usually get to work with 2 of 9 bars remaining.

Hey Casey - great bike and great video! I have two questions for you, if you don't mind. First, I'm a big fan of more upright riding positions. I know the CCX has more of an aggressive, forward leaning riding position. How upright do you think I can get, for example, by adding an adjustable stem to it? Comfort is key for me when buying a bike. The second question is regarding the weight. I know this is a pretty heavy bike, as most ebikes are. My house has front steps leading to the entrance, like many of the houses in your video, and I would have to carry it up/down daily. Not much more than that, though, about 10 step flight of stairs to get to the front door. Do you think that is doable with how this bike weighs or would it become an annoyance daily? Do you think it's possible to climb the stairs alongside the bike on walk mode by lightly hitting the throttle? Thank you so much and keep up the nice footage!

Hey Gabriel, glad you enjoyed the video. And yes, it's a great bike but my reason for choosing it was because I have a 33 mile one way commute to work that I use it for and I didn't want to worry about conserving battery. So, depending on your needs I'd say there are more comfortable better bikes. But to answer your questions, first the riding position out of the box is pretty forward. I put a handlebar extension on and it's a lot more comfortable for me. You could adjust or replace the handlebars however you choose but the extender was $10 and solved the position for me. As for the weight, it's hefty. So, it might get annoying to take it up and down the stairs. Just keep in mind that there are other lighter e-bikes but they're all significantly heavier than regular bikes. Although, the batteries on all Juiced bikes are very easy to remove and takes about 9 pounds off the weight so that might help. If I didn't have the range requirements that I do I think I'd go for the Priority Current. It's a little more expensive but man it has everything I'd want. Mid-drive with 140 NM torque, Gates carbon belt drive with a CVT on the hub, and an adjustable stem. Plus it's about 13 pounds lighter. Anyway, hope that helps and happy hunting!

@@CaseyDarwin Thanks for the great perspective. It's a fairly expensive purchase so any advice is greatly helpful! I have to admit: the Priority Current looks like a fantastic bike! Definitely better suited for my needs than the CCX. However, the price is way off for me. The CCX can be bought right now for $2000 (2100 - 100 coupon) while the Priority is $3k. Considering that $2k is already stretching what I can afford right now, paying 50% more wouldn't be doable. The reason why I chose the CCX was, first, the torque sensor. That would be a given on any mid drives, but, again, most are out of my price range. My commute goes through steep hills and although the Juiced doesn't have that much torque (80 Nm), I thought the extra power would be helpful. If you have any suggestions that might be a better fit closer to my price point, I'd love to hear! Regarding the stairs, think something like this stock photo (images.app.goo.gl/F9hZcj8ZSRsSsJ6a8). It doesn't seem terrible, but I never tried. One suggestion was pushing it up the stairs with Walk Mode. Not sure how doable that is or not. Lastly, regarding the position - yeah, my last bike was a cruiser and although that is on a whole different level of comfort (and a whole different purpose of bike) I didn't want to go to an extreme opposite end of the spectrum. Juiced does not recommend swapping the handlebars as the brake lines aren't long enough to accommodate risers. An adjustable stem, changing the angle and bringing it a bit closer would be my best bet, similar to what you did.

@@gabrielsiqueira4078 So, yeah, going up the stairs with either the throttle or walk mode could help. I've never tried, might get a little squirrelly. But for sure the CCX is an awesome bike. I love it and the torque sensor does make a huge difference. I've never had a cruiser and I came from a road bike so it may be a little more of an adjustment for you but I can comfortably ride 50 plus miles at a go.

@@gabrielsiqueira4078 One other thing you mentioned, hills, my ride is also very hilly and it eats them alive, no problem. The only area it's a little weak with hills is if you start at the base from a dead stop. But even then you'll make it up with ease.

@@CaseyDarwin Thanks for all the info! I have a lot to consider but this has been very helpful!
