It's coming together nicely! I didn't realize that packs would be stuck to / hanging from(?) the front wheel. Pretty sweet set up. Hmm, we're from Canada, so we're not sure what they say about people with big feet in England...can you please elaborate? ;)

Nah! If something has a practical use , it's always worth the weight. They weigh less than 300 grammes which is no big deal for the benefit they provide. I used a similar system when cycling across the Andes with no issue ;)
