Bike touring Georgia 2 | Cycle, eat, dance

On an bicycle adventure around the world, there are many difficulties to overcome. This time we climb a steep mountain pass into the Greater Caucasus, where we spend 2 nights in an abandoned building to be safe from the rain. We eat piles of delicious Georgian food and finally make it to a music festival high up in the mountains.

I speak German as a mother tongue and English. Arev speaks Armenian as mother tongue, Russian, German, and English in order of proficiency. She therefore also reads and writes 3 different alphabets 🤯

Thanks Dan! 😊 I wouldn't mind a proper rock festival, but we take what we can have. It was really lovely there and we could bath in the river. The water was crystal clear and ice cold!

I enjoy watching your videos! I wonder, between what dates were you in Georgia? I am travelling from Sweden to Georgia this fall, and am a bit anxious if it will be really cold come November. I guess in the mountains it will always be chilly, but happy to hear your insight!

We were in Georgia between late July and early August. We would assume that in November it can be quite rainy and cold, yes. Some mountain passes might start to get closed, but that depends on the specific year and it is hard to tell now. A week can make all the difference sometimes. For Armenia we can say that riding during the days can be wonderful, with cold nights in November, but humidity is much higher in Georgia... Anyways, don't worry too much! Once you're on the road there is a solution to everything 😉

I am thinking about try to avoid the heat in Turkey by starting my trip a bit later in the summer, so I maybe spend October in Turkey and it would be November when I get to Georgia/Armenia which would be my end destination. I *think* I prefer the cold over massive heat, but I guess I have to try 😊

HA HA, home made chacha isn't 70-80% alcohol. The DIY standard chacha is about 50-52% not more. In some very rare cases can reach 60%. And the typical chacha home producer knows to control the alcohol percentage. 52% is the standard!

My friend, Even the different between 50% to 55% is hell. It's "only" 5% different, But it's huge one!
