I dreamed of having a new Suzuki Jimny and bring it out for camping... My Pinterest app then suggested bikepacking... then brought me to this video on KZbin... I worked for 2 years in Cebu and went around using a company vehicle. Going up to TOPS looks grueling indeed. Yet, this bikepacking looks more sensible than owing a mini 4x4. Let's see where this takes me.

IF your into trail riding, there's a lot of tracks to take in around Cebu Transcentral Hwy to Balamban where you can exit in different part of cebu. like Consolacion, Talisay City or even Toledo city. Most of it can be just fire road all the way while a few can be a little bit technical. I suggest to do it with a group of locals and a lighter pack because a few of the hill climb along the way can be brutal but I can definitely say that the view and experience along the way is priceless.

@Jackson....I saw in your page that you love waterfalls. However, you haven't visited a single waterfalls in Cebu which possess that distinctly turquoise blue water. Cebu has the most number of known waterfalls systems in the whole country, at 112 as of late. With every system hosting up to 13 individual falls/cascades, multiple clear blue pools, Cebu has close to a thousand individual waterfalls. Before Typhoon Odette devastated Southern Cebu last December 2021, Kawasan Falls system used to have 11 individual falls and cascades but has now reduced to 10. Aguinid Falls system in Samboan town luckily was spared by the devastation that it retains its 10 falls and cascades in as many levels. In Cebu City mountains, there are a few waterfalls systems, three of which are popular: Budlaan Falls, Igutan Falls and Kabang Falls. I suggest you check them out if you return to Cebu.
