Nice weather for Scotland in spring. You should do a bike trip to Sweden or Estonia with Juliet. Getting a decent diet is the hardest part of bike packing unless you take panniers or can get foods from shoos every few days.

Wow i tried bike camping twice in the 1970s..once totally ruined by rain ( thank you Boy Scouts who allowed us to share their far better tents). The second on a tandem went really well. This is a great video

@@KatieKookaburra I was there in April, visited them before doing the NC500 on my Motorbike...Prospect Hill in Lamlash. The view as you come down by Lamlash Golf Club (On your left) and look out over the Holy Isle.....That's the view from thier front garden MEGA !!!!
