Nice to know that you can have a wild campingbin Menorca, which is not a case in Mallorca

It’s a beautiful Island. Coastal stretches in particular are the places to be. The coastal route is tough though as you’ve found out. We’ve walked small stretches during our visits there. It is definitely tough on your feet. Best suited to walking rather than cycling. Keep safe! 👍🏻

The minimalistic music mixed with the background sounds fit great, i was looking for something like this for a while but most channels lose some of the experience by putting music too loud. Keep going, me acabo de suscribir jaja

I appreciate it greatly that you’ve noticed the subtle use of music. Will continue doing so!

Thumbs UP. What a nice island, great tracks, the many gates, how old it all looks...I definetly will come to exactly that times, without all the Touris! Imagin you live there, have some goats sheeps and chicken, do you need the shitty tourism ŕround you... Very lovely video of your hours there! danke, Danke, DANKE !

Thanks again for another amazing series. Those spokes for the pot stand still frustrate me endlessly with bent up anger, hahah. I think the ones I have are way too short. I'll try try and try again. Please come and visit all your followers here in Australia we have lots of great BP rides. Nothing quite a picturesque as your trips though.

Nice video, however somewhat misleading: there are several coastal hardtop rural roads with shoulders that are great for bikers, less so for hikers. 15:23 LJB

which of the island was the best for bikebackping and why?
@tristanbogaard Жыл бұрын
I think Ibiza, because of the choice of trails, easy accommodation and it’s size.

Sorry, you've made me laugh listening to you saying it's gon'na be easy!! I'm a local and I know the terrain, is rocky and technical, sometimes not even "cyclable". And then... deciding to go from Mercadal to Ciutadella by the north shore, you've gone from bad to worst in terms of "cyclability". I like you enjoyed anyway.

Yes, this route definitely knocked it out of us… but it was fun to try! I know now that if I’ll come back, it’s by foot ;)

Just out of curisity; there are a couple of XC "monsters" (Lachlan Morton and Ismael ventura) who have a FKT of less than 11hours for the full 185km length of GR223 The part between Cala Pregonda and Cala Pilar in the north shore is called "Mordor" by the locals for a reason 😅 Thanks for sharing

People don't realize how hard it is to push a bike up a rocky path as you guys were at the 20:20 mark. I struggle just to push my unloaded bike up a hill. I've never tried it fully loaded. I guess there's no easy way.
@tristanbogaard2 жыл бұрын
There’s definitely no easy way! For us, bikepushing does only make sense if it connects two ridable stretches. In Menorca.. that wasn’t so much the case!
@bartmullin8018 Жыл бұрын
Pushing bikes=character building (and appreciating the ridable stretches...). Try pushing a loaded bike up a 65'/45° stairway; even more 'fun'.
