Very enjoyable video. Am hoping to do the North - South journey down the Avon starting at Pewsey. There are several branches of the Avon - two seem to converge at Upavon and again at Salisbury where the river Nadder joins up. Until fairly recently large vessels would get all the way up to Salisbury and beyond which is why there are so many old towns and villages along the route. It looks a tricky area for wild camping though. Not too many isolated place. Glad you found that spot alongside the river!

@@chrisarnell1 thanks for the info. Yes I'm always looking for new spots. This one was a bit noisy though.... The first one I stopped at had a car park so lots of people milling around..... I'm off to tour spain on my next adventure, coming back to UK for the beautiful autumn drizzle!! Happy pedalling and thanks for watching 🤟🏼🚴🏼♂️🏕️

Looks a lovely little route, just my thing with all those horses wandering about.

Was a worried for a moment when you were opening your beer with one hand, but good that it didn’t fall into the river 🤣 … and great camping spot!
